T-Break and Detox Symptoms

First off want to say that I really don't think you can say call it a "Detox" since cannabis is Non-Toxic but I guess that's the lingo everyone uses when asking these questions.

I'm not a hardcore smoke 10 bowls a day person. I'm a patient that uses cannabis regularly (Joint or two a day, Along with a bowl).

I recently took a break (Not the first time I have) due to a health concern that I felt was kinda in the background due to my smoking.

I ended up having weird temple pain and a weird sensation along my scalp. It kinda scared me that maybe I was smoking mold or something (Got the outdoor from my friend and some pieces did have some mold but I chucked them) so I took a break and went cold turkey.

The first day was kinda hell, I know cannabis isn't physically addicting and I AM NOT CRAVING IT. I actually don't want to smoke because the feeling I am getting is short-term memory loss, forgetfulness, anxiety, irritability, loss of appetite (My RX is for Hep C so it definitely helps motivate my hunger, Obviously), and really weird brain fog. I stopped smoking on Wednesday night ( 11/14 ) and went to the ER for the weirdness on the 15th and 16th. They didn't find anything going on with my temple or any health problems so I just went back home.

I understand if you are a moderate to heavy smoker 4 days isn't going to be enough to try and over come these kind of symptoms.

I do have a couple of questions though and would just like to know of anyone else that is going through a T-Break and experiencing these kinds of symptoms.

I noticed it's hard to concentrate, I will get bad anxiety and get to the point where I don't want to continue doing what I am doing or even try to explain things lol. My girl will text me like 4-5 messages and I will go to respond, But feel it's just too much work.

I also noticed that when reading I will mix words up and some words are interpreted differently than what is actually written.

I'm not a lazy person and I like to go out to the store and walking and such. However I really haven't had that interest and my focus is more on the health problems (That seem to be WAY worse than they really are).

Has anyone experienced these kind of symptoms? I have some really nice ladies that are close to harvest and I don't want to not be able to enjoy them. I would rather understand what's going on and why these symptoms occur in some people and not others.

It's kinda a out of body experience. Like I am watching myself on a show. But it's not like I visibly see myself more like my eyes are reeling the footage and I feel very spacey and out of place. Kinda as if I was high but without the high lol. I don't feel relaxed or slow like I would when I'm medicated. Just real spacey.

Sorry it's a really long post just would like to see if others experienced it. I know that it's not permanent and I have experienced something similar before through a short t-break but this time it's just a little bit more.

Please don't say the solution is to smoke more, I would love to once I figure out health wise what's going on. But I would like to know what's up and why it happens. The outdoor I got was very strong (Possibly barneys vanilla and another strain) and it seems when I smoke outdoor I get real bad anxiety after smoking it.

Is it genetic?

Thanks RIU, I posted on here because once I searched on google I got mostly GS posts of people telling OP's that they are dumb and that this never happens. But I definitely feel some emotional detox symptoms.

I also would like to know if these symptoms are possible when cooking or using hemp oil. As I would like to use hemp oil to cure the hep c. However do hemp oil patients experience these kind of symptoms when stopping?

Thanks.

Hey man thanks for the quick reply. But are you saying I'm addicted to Cannabis? Is it that my brain is addicted and not used to not being high? Because I'm not craving bud and honestly don't want to smoke for awhile. But the symptoms are really weird.

If it were physically addicting wouldn't I be craving it?

It kills me when people say you can't become addicted to cannibis. People can become addicted to just about anything.

Hey man, I never said it wasn't addicting (If you are referring to me). I stated it's not physically. I don't crave cannabis right now and I don't honestly want to smoke because of the brain fog I'm getting on my t-break.

Emotionally addicting is something else. And I feel that may just be why I'm getting the brain fog and the weird symptoms on this t-break. But I wanted to know if other people have had these symptoms.

However, Since it's only been 4-5 days I know I still have THC in my system. So maybe I'm coming up and down? I don't really have body fat and I'm underweight so I don't really know where it would be stored.

You are very correct, Everything can be addicting. Physical or Emotional. Maybe even subconsciously. Caffeine, Certain foods, Love lol.

Just want to know if anyone else has gone through the same symptoms. The anxiety, insomnia, and the fog. How long did it take for you? Did you just smoke more?

Tempted to smoke but I don't want the fog to increase if you know what I mean.
