T tries to grow a pound

Does the Southern AG leave some brown residue at the bottom of your rez? I'm wondering if I'm not getting mixed into the water well enough when I add it.
@fragileassassin
More likely to be some nutrient settling.
The only noticeable build up I get is on my pumps filter bag. Get a bit of a brown sludge built up over a couple weeks.

Day 30 of veg in the 2 x 6.
I'd like to not over veg them again. Not sure If I flower them now how much I would get. I would be disappointed with 2 ounces per plant but it wouldn't be the end of the world. I could give it another week to be sure. But they are growing really fast right now.

I noticed some fading between the lines of one of the leaves and then found some brown spots on a lower leaf. There is also some leaf curling.
EC is 1300 in, 1100 out.
Using ratio 3/2/1.1

I forgot to buffer my coco so I'm leaning towards blaming the coco for absorbing the cal-mag and depriving it from the plant. If I could test my waste water I could find out if all my cal-mag is depleted. Since I can't I'm wondering what a middle ground option is.
Can I increase my magnesium sulfate to a ratio of 3/2/2? How long should I water with that? Some other option or idea?

I guess I could up my watering to twice a day to help balance the in and out EC. Which would also get more nutrients to the plant. I transplanted these from solo cups to 3 gallons. So watering once a day was more than enough for a while. Maybe I just didn't keep up with the needs of the plant.

I'm avoiding changing the input EC since I'm using the same solution for my flowering plants.

I watered at lights off for the first time this run and watered each plant until the runoff EC matched the input. On the two other plants the output matched the input on the 2nd watering and they have minor issues. The worst plant took an extra watering to get there.

I'm not sure why the worst plant needed an extra watering for the output to match up. Is the plant or the medium able to absorb whatever nutrients that was depleted that quickly? I watered, measured, waited for the pan to drain and then watered again.

Looks like everything is running smoothly again. Been depressed about the news and have been neglecting my grow a little bit.

Teag, what kind of camera did you use for the closeup shot on the frosty pic? I had to quit watching the news recently, same old shit just a different day. My advice is no booze just cannabis to help keep the sadness away.

I've been using my Samsung A50, which I got for about $150 and it does a pretty good job for just a phone. It is a bit of a pain to try to get a picture that is in focus.
And thats some good advice on the booze!

Day 40 veg / Day 0 flower. Decided to flip the 2 x 6 after some cleaning. Trimmed up the bottoms for air flow and removed lanky tips I didn't think would be worth it. Pretty much left everything else alone. I may have went a little hard on the first plant.

Day 48 flower in the 2 x 3. You can kind of see a U shape in this picture where the cobs down the center have kept those flowers from growing any higher. I'm pretty sure I'm never going to have a nice even canopy, hehe.
I'm seeing some yellowing leaves which I'm pretty sure is light burn. I dimmed the lights a little last time but I'm going to let these go and see how it ends up.

I'm currently weighing my Jacks every time I mix up a res. Was thinking about adding some drink dispensers in my garage and use it as a concentrate instead. I was resistant to the idea because of the mess of working with concentrates but a drink dispenser and a beaker will solve all of that I think. Was wondering if anyone had any good setups I could steal ideas from. Also wasn't sure if setting this up in a garage that will be really hot and really cold is going to be a problem or not.
Since I upped my watering to twice a day I'm going through a little less than 20 gallons every two days before I refill the res. Not sure if this is really an appropriate amount of water to be using for 5 plants but it is what it is I guess.

Day 5 flower - Noticed a kind of wrinkled look to some of the leaves(last picture). I think its fine, just looks a little odd due to the rapid growth.

Day 57 in the 2 x 3. Snapped a shot of the leaves getting crispy from the lights. I think this is still acceptable but not sure. I've always turned the lights down or raised them up to prevent this. Trying to find a balance between overcooking and maximizing light. Still planning on harvesting in 2-3 weeks so it might be too much at this stage. Have to wait and see I guess.

Day 64 in the 3 x 2. The left side has big nugs and the right has smaller nugs. I think this is due to the cold air coming in from the vent on the right side. I need to change how air comes into this grow space. This room is constantly 70 degrees and it should be closer to 80.

It looks like the tops have stopped growing and the lowers are putting on weight. Not going to be a weighty harvest, still good though I hope.

Day 16 in the 2 x 6. The flower stretch is always fun. I actually defoliated yesterday but it doesn't really look like it. Trying to defoliate less and see how it goes. Been super cropping more this run and I don't think I've been using this technique enough. The tight node structure that forms after the super crop seems like a good thing.

I was thinking of how @Flatrate negotiated extra space with Mrs. Flaterate for his larger grow space. And I'm wondering how he pulled it off.
Mrs. "T" still has me relegated to a closet.

The art of the negotiation, plus I traded my theater room for her craft room, she got the bigger of the two spaces. The space I got is a room right next to my existing space where I already had extra power ran and waiting in the basement.

Day 23 in the 2 x 6. I don't think I've managed my lights very well this run. Right know I'm 120 watts below my max and I have an inch left to raise my lights. Maybe its for the best not running my lights at maximum during the summer. These plants seem to be more light sensitive than previous plants I've grown.
