T5 and Ventilation

Going to start a T5 grow.

My question is, since the Temps are lower, what kind of ventilation do I need?

It's a small area, 2x4x5'6

T5s put off little heat.so if you leaving your grow room sealed up you will need only little ventilation.so least you wont need high end vent fans.when I grew with my t5s I just have my tent doors open

i use a 4x4 t-5 for clones/seedlings. the majority of the heat comes from the ends of the bulbs. it generates quite a bit of heat, even though it's tube lighting. in a small area like yours, you may need a fan or two.

I can get a cheap in line fan, 1000cfm for 39$, and my dryer duct runs through the top of the room, so I'll just "y" into that and voila, all the vent I need. Well I'll add a temp switch to regulate when it comes on and off.

Personally I just have my closet door open and have a handful of fans running. I also have a bunch of CFL and I think I kept the temps in the low 80's so far this summer (which for my setup is good!)

Well at some point I'd like to maybe switch to hps, and the way I'm setting up this small room, It will be a simple light switch. I'm going to have a small hole in the bottom wall, to allow for passive intake.
