T5 Distance for Seedlings

You can keep your T5 abt 3 to 4 inches, I use T5 2ft,4 bulb also, but keep an eye on them, they will start to sprout fast, yes, you should have constant air circulation, start with a small fan, enough to "jiggle" the stem to strengthen them, best of luck with your grow, and don't worry so much, your plant knows what to do, just feed them and don't over do it.
Ive had my T5's anywhere from 8-12 inches.
The plants I got now been under T5s since start and never closer than 8", more like 10"-12"
Seems too be working wonder for me. Those little bulbs give off a good amount of heat...
As long as you dont have a problem with them getting stretchy and the heat is right the distance is good. Closer the better but I see no need to push it.

7 inches is way too high, 3 to 4 is best, you could go 2 inches as suggested, with a fan on you should have no problems.
Edit: I've never paid attention to the temps of my seedlings, if temp is to high they will let you know, their leaves will point upwards, if so then raise the light an other inch or two, if not, let it be.

turn the fan on,and all sounds good,that t-5 do not need to be 2" above plants,it will grow them just fine where you got it now.
