t5 grow light question ?

looking for info from people who have used the t5`s before !!

iv been thinking about buying a t5 light set up for my next grow

but i would like to know how successful people`s grows have been with them !

so just let me know what yall think of them !! ~peace~

T5's are fine thru vegging , but the yeild would be small if flowering with them.

I like the T5 for early veg(seedling) and during cloning. But I dont feel that they dont cover enough space to grow plants past the first weeks. And they are also very expensive at some places. I would recommend a small MH fixture if your looking for a Veg light. Or a HPS fixture if you are Vegging and Flowering

i have a nice 6 tube t5ho fixture. if you are getting it to flower you will be disappointed, even with the bloom spectrum bulbs. however i consider them to be really great for vegging. for flowering you are going to need quite a bit of side light. i just finished my first hps grow and there was really no comparison. with the hps i pulled well over a zip per plant with fewer watts than my previous floro setup. i'm in the middle of building my veg tent so i can set up a (somewhat) perpetual grow using t5 for veg and my 400w hps for flower. if you are used to hid lighting and you switch to a t5 it will be a downgrade, but they make absolutely awesome veg lights with almost no heat.

but i was just curious on the t5s

i wanted to try something a lil different on my next grow !!!
