t5 grow light . what one should i buy ?

very nice petflora .

Thanks I forgot to mention they are 30w each.

Running cooler than hps (plus no radiated heat), the pistils are very fluffy

Here's a pic from last grow where I added 2 ZooMed AquaSuns as I only had 6 TLs

This was using HR Research V + B throughout, but adding +Size during mid bloom. I am now using Emerald Harvest Bloom Nutes, which are formulated specifically for the bloom stage. So, I am expecting better fatter result

ever think of changing the spectrum ? they sell 2700 bulbs or ones that are a lot more red . for flower more bulk on the plants. and use the white for veg . I don't know how much more you will get changing the spectrum or if you care about that .

I veg using 2:1 white/red, for flower 1:1.

Although 660 is pushed as the be all for flowering, ~ 620 provides 90% of what 660 does at a much lower cost per bulb. PLUS, 660 bulbs have a very short life expectancy

If ya want yield with T5's go with the GE 4100K, bulbs are cheap, I can get em locally for $5 each. They have red & blue peaks that plants love and they gave the best yield of all the bulbs I've tested

wow are you serious ? these led tubes look like they are growing better then thousand dollar led lights ! I had no idea they would make them flower so well . my intensions were only for veg but now you have me dropping some coin on more of these for side lighting with my hid above . for the extra electricity the use hardly any thing its well worth it .

still looking good . I want to see what the led tubes will do . I will have to try them .
I've looked at those, but still have a few more T5's to test first, I'm actually surprised that only one grower (that I am aware of) has copied my tanning booth design 8)

I've been noticing a marked difference between the pistils under my Amare LED panels and those under the TL LED tubes. Now, this could well be due to the significantly increased intensity of the Amares. Alas, I cannot raise the Amare panels to the recommended height, so what I am seeing could be the equivalent of sun burn.

This morning I decided to take pre-lights on pictures (more accurate color). This was hard as I had to use a small hand held led plus focus the camera

Unfortunately, I don't have a macro lens to get real close ups, but I think you'll see how much fluffier the pistils are under the TLs. What impact that has, I don't know, but it certainly would help for pollen catching

First two pics are close ups under the Amare SE 250

new up date . philips led shop lighting working very well very bushy close nodes they are about average 6 to 8 inches tall from scratch . healthy . zero issues except one . why did i not but these years ago ?

Im under the impression some are saying the t5 equivelant led strips are better than the normal flourescent t5's. I have seen plants in my local pet shop under these and im unconvinced so far but they do sell quite a big range of them in almost all spectrums.
