T5 GrowBright or Quantum BadBoy?

I need opinions between the HTG GrowBright, or the Quantum BadBoy at Grener's. Both are 4 ft. 4 bulb fixtures, and rated at 20,000 lumens. The Quantum is $10 more approx, but doesnt include the $60 bulbs and yo-yos. Is the Quantums worth it, or will I be happy with the grow bright?

thank you,
Lavinius :bigjoint:

id go with the one that comes with the yo-yo's and not to mention the 60 dollar bulbs. those yo-yos are like 20 - 25 bucks anyway

I would go with the badboy. They use them at my hydro shop and seem to work great. I bought sunlight supply's tek light but it cost double those.

Get the grow bright the technology is the same regardless if you do want to work with CFL's you might as well get as much for your cash as possible. My friend bought a T5 Badboy then he realized with better techniques comes HIDs.

The Hydro stores will use anything that is making their greedy hands cash.

What I dont understand with people who buy structures like these is why not do some research on how to setup a good SCROG grow get a 250 watt MH/HPS bigger yields, less heat, less energy.

The way I look at it is, there is a reason one cost more than the other. I don't mind spending more money on good shit. It's like a pair of polos to a pair o walmart jeans. It at least gives me peace of mind that my house isn't gonna burn down because of cheap electric components.
