T5 lighting for veg

Okay guys. Don't bitch. How many 4' t5's would be suitable in a 4x4x3 area. My options are t5 and cfl. So which lights to use for what phase? First grow. I have access to T5 fiztures for free. And cfl is cheaper than hps or mh for first time. Depending on how things work out I will decide then based on trial and error.

Depends on how many bulbs your fixture has. If it has 4 I'd go with 2, if it has 8 I'd stick with 1.
