T5 Veg with 1000w Hps Flower. Help Plz?

i have 192 watts on the t5 right how is there some other bulbs with more watts? if there is it would be great to know.

That wattage should be good .......but 24 in 5 gallons will definitely not fit under the 2 foot t5........keep them in those cups for 3-4 weeks or until you see signs of them becoming root bound then transplant to 1 gallon plastic pots if you are going to veg longer......that way you can pack as many as possible under the t5 then when your going to flower switch them to the 5 gallon pots....a pic of my 6 bulb 4 foot t5 ho with 5000k bulbs at work......all plants are in 1 gallon or cups.....only 1 is in a 2 gallon pot...

that sounds good im probily going to do just like u said and ill buy the 1 gallon pots. i was thinking of keeping 1 of my 24 under the t5 or even buying another t5 for just the mother. i have some purple that i really have no name for im trying to get back out of some seeds i kept from a harvest or 2 b4. basic qestion is will that 2 feet 8 tube light be ok for a mother plant? if u can answer that it would make my life alittle easyer lol

hey guyz i wanted to ask a qestions about a light. i have 2 2tube 4 foot work shop lights with 40 w blubs r these any good what can i do with them?

You can start clones or seedlings and even veg plants under those....I recommend t8 5000k-6500k tubes for veg.......look at the ends of the tubes should tell you what kelvin rating and other specs your tubes are...

Dude, I built mostly all of my boxes out of stuff I already had besides the lights, Gotta conserve what you have already! you are def off to a great start my man.

well i pulled out a tube to look at it. all i really see is it says workshop f40 made in usa rapid start 40w 24618 avg life 12,000 then to the side going down it reads e4e5 lol any idea?

Ill help as much as I can man, Its like the only way I can be involved without us having to see each others spots in person haha. I have no idea about the lights. It all depends on the bulbs I would feel like really, they have to be either day light or warm bright I think are what they are called. Peace man.

f40 is a T12 4100k ( red spectrum ) and 24618 is the type of ballast used with those bulbs. T12's don't do much. Maybe root clones with them and that's about it. grab a T5 and get some aquarium coral bulbs. thats what I use for veg and flower.

Also during veg i switch out a redsun for a UV Lighting 75.25

half the power, no heat, no ventilation, only need a/c when its hot out

i truely have no problem with others seeing my spot if they them selfs are true growers but i get just what u mean and on a + note michigan is kinda big lol

yeah, I feel ya. Growers are doing the same shit, they know what the work is like. I was actually born in MI and moved to cali young. Now I reside in FL somewheres. laws are strict as shit here.
