can anyone help...i have 6bulb T8 already
He lied to you to make a sale, or he doesn't know any better.i was going to get a 4ft 4 bulb T5 But the guy said the t8 putts out the same lumen and they were sold out......
Those T8 led tube substitutes are pretty low wattage to spread over that length. Now if they put some 1w or 3w chips in them that would be a different story.Ok, go back and look at my first post- T8 LED bulbs.
Were I to be starting now, I would use a T 8 fixture and get these LED bulbs
so in your opinion stick with what ihave or get the led? Those T8 led tube substitutes are pretty low wattage to spread over that length. Now if they put some 1w or 3w chips in them that would be a different story.
will the t8 led alone be enought for 5 plants untill early flower or till harvest....there kinda priceySo you're straight on that now?

CFLs contain mercury gas. Not good, especially if you drop one. Bad bulbs must be disposed at hazard waste facilities
T5s need to be replaced every ~ 6th grow. Quality bulbs cost $10-25 (when you factor in shipping and tax closer to $30)
These led bulbs will last ~ 6 years. They will be great for veg into early flower. By then I expect higher power bulbs will be available
