*Tahoe OG*, D/c Smoke/Grow Report w/pic's

Growth:Here 11 weeks veg from reg' seed and 72 days flower. I grew these "pot culture" in 15L pots using R/w cubes & hydroton for medium (passive hydro) in my 1800w (x3 600w HPS) flower room. Also multi topped & supercropped. See my journal for more grow & flower info/pic's, link in my sig'.
Nutes: All Canna (Aqua) nutrient/additive line and Superthrive.
Yield: From the 2 plants that I grew here I pulled 7 ounces + 13.14g (approx' dry weight!!) of dried & cured Bud.
Bag Appeal: 10/10 - These are some really good lookin Bud's, not too big but they are VERY dense, rock hard nuggets and just covered in frosty THC crystals. :weed:
Smell: D/c Bud has a dominant lemon pledge smell, reminds me of skittles and vomit lol. - Also while choppin this strain at harvest the smell gets really strong and will linger in your clothes too, I was stinking of it so bad I had to bath & change to rid myself of the stink before going out lol.
Taste:Gorgeous lemon - fuelish skunk, tastes morishly lemony and will leave your mouth feeling dry & a 'lil numb too with a citrus aftertaste left on your lips. Smooth but strong tasting smoke and quitelung expansive too.
The High: 10/10 - Up fast & heavy hitting, warm, body numbing and shaking feeling. If your a low tolerence smoker you may go dizzy and spin out too as this is a VERY strong high!!
Comments: Overall I'll give the Tahoe OG a total of - 10/10. This is my new #1 keeper, it does exactly what I expect from "real" dank mari, KO me lol :eyesmoke: I've been smokin weed 13 years now and this is the first time I've found a strain this good that has had this kind of impact on me, I'll be keeping my clones around for as long as I can. Excellent med' strain. NO autoflowering or hermie issues what so ever either!!
Big up's & Respect to Cali Connection for bringing this strain in seed to the world!! If your in doubt about growing CC gear then I can for sure recommend both this and DeadHead OG as ones to deffo try 100%. :mrgreen::peace:

hahaha smelled of skittles and vomit!!!!that sounds like a cosby sweater to me...thats when a girl has you eat fruitty pebbles(cereal)then throw up on her chest!!youd have to shower to get that smell off you too!!:spew::spew:yo munkie what up bro? racerboy told me to check out your tahoe as i just ordered it.big ups man sounds great plus rep. u still run it?i think i will cross it to my sour d cut and my g13 cut, but ill decide once i see it.its hard for me to picture anything improvin my sour d.peace

Thanx mate, lol the skittles & vomit smell came after a good cure time but she tasted far better with a power high to match too, I did plan to keep her around a while but lost my mother cuts to cal diff that I didn't catch in time, but I did get another run with her before that happened. They preffered a more calcium rich feed too, other than that shes a breeze to grow out. X her with a good Sour D and she'll blow your mind imo.
Btw which Sour D would you recommend I try?? I'm in the UK so cuts aren't an option, I need a good rep in reg seed form, any ideas for me mate??
 
im a deadhead so i got my sour d as a cut years ago when it first came on the scene.havent seen much that can touch it. breeze to grow,no tolerance build up,good yield, crazy flavor and potent.ive grown a gang of strains over the years(10+yrs 50+ strains) but this and g13(also a cut) are the only two i keep around.and the sour d is about all i smoke.im on the east coast had some friends out from LA who kept talkin up OG kush, sayin its the best ever. i challenged them to a duel at high noon, what a session i couldnt see straight by the time the smoke cleared they bowed down to my sour d!!!as far as beans to recommend ive tried rez's its not bad.if you like cali conns gear so much i would say try theirs.but if u can buy a few packs grow them all out and really go on a hunt.i see so many people on here who talk up stuff or hate on it after only growin out a couple seeds.i think you have to at least grow out a ten pack.thats why they sell them them in packs of ten, to allow for variation and for males of course.here soon i plan on either selfin my sour d(dont really believe in that style of breedin)or gettin a pack of sour d and crossin to mine then cubing it.whenever i do ill keep u posted.let me know what u try and how it works.peace bro.

Sounds like a good idea thanx, also I wouldn't say I "love" all of Cali Connection's gear mate I've not grown out that much of theirs tbh just their DeadHead OG & Tahoe OGK strains atm lol.I love the T-OG just didn't rate the DH that much, I'm watchin another grower heres thread where he is doin both Cali Connect's Sour D & Reserva Privada' Sour D too. So I'll see maybe depending on how he finds them both as he is another Sour D fan.

Thanx mate and the Tahoe is deffo among one of the strongest I've ever had, proper banger all the way :eyesmoke:.
 
Gonna be flippin my tahoes n jedis in a couple weeks here. Can wait. There looking great.

The jedis are growin faster than the tahoes even.

I'm veggin out some Jedi's atm too, looking forwards to some fire with those hopefully mate. The Tahoe you will just fall in love with, make sure you take plenty of clones for the keepers your gonna get you will want to keep it around ;-)
 
I bought 2 pick n mix tahoes, since i really dont care if they're m or f.... I was bored and stupid though, and only germed 1... Its growing very vigorous, and bigger than a blue cheese and blueberry planted/germed 3 days earlier...... right now, i am certain it will be a great male/fem so i really dont mind...... if i were to cross it, it would be with blue cheese, sage, A Train, P. Express, and 2 autos i got going outside..... White Dwarf and Syrup....

cant wait..... been 26 days veg.....1 more week and I'll sex it....24 hr light right now......but, damn....after those pics, i think i want a fem...lol :-p

i wish there larry og was that good wasnt happy with blackwater either but ill still try there gear i hope there tahoe is good
 
just picked up some tahoe Og from Avalon, lemony diesel was a good description. I have seen clones on craigslist for ten a piece, but its so risky going through an anonymous grower
