Tahoe OG Kush Ready for Harvest??

So my Tahoe OG from Cali connection is at week 11 and still has a decent amount of white hairs wondering if I should chop or wait another week to see if the buds swell up more.

The trichs are pretty much all cloudy with maybe 5%-10% amber which I normal chop at, but not sure if I'm going to lose out on a lot of weight.
Growing in soil and flushed the last week with sugaree from cutting edge
Getting low and really want to burn this hahaha

Pinch one off and fire it up. That will tell you all you need to know.

If it were mine i'd harvest. I don't think you'll get any more weight on her after 11 weeks.

Go ahead an chop. I can tell she was stressed, which is why you aren't done flowering yet. Tahoe shouldn't take more than 8.5-9 wks tops.
I think you have some lockout problems just by looking at your pics. Buds should be fatter and more golf-ball shaped. Your nugs are elongated which is a sign of nutrient toxicity/stress.

I think it was the year 2012...was the year I had a wiff of tahoe og......good smell...I need a seed.

Had some heat issues during the summer that made temps too hot, got another inline and fixed temps. I believe that's what caused the stress and delayed the plant I was out of town at the time and gf didn't seem to notice. Cali connection says the Tahoe og is a 10 week plant. So I wasn't sure if the stress just delayed it a couple weeks

It doesn't look ready imo.

I'd let her go 3-5 more days and then chop. I can't feel the buds to see how dense and if it springs back.

I wouldn't let too many trichs go amber ( not past 15-20% ) because degradation and hermies can and will occur. Also, bigger outdoor plants have issues with bud rot / insects in moist climates/seasons.

That stress deff effected her, but she looks like she put out as much as she could given the circumstances.

Remember every Crop / Harvest is a learning experience! Even Green-thumbs that have been growing their whole life; 30, 40, even 50 years are still learning, adapting, and "growing" lol pun intended

It could go a little longer but it would be a heavier high. You could take it now unless you want as much weight as possible. Probably won't fatten up that much more anyway due to the leaves being all half dead.

Already chopped, it's drying right now. I quick dried some buds by putting them in an envelope and wrapping in a heating pad. Best quick dry method I've tried so far, even though the plant was stressed pretty hard for a couple weeks mid flowering I got high as shit. The buds were actually fattier than I thought and not strangely. By the way definitely reaked up my house like og for past month and now I think u can smell a block away haha. Got some sfv og kush, Tahoe og, cheddarhead, hazy daze, Milwaukee moose knuckle, zombie rasta and purple train wreck in veg now. Definetly not going to have to deal with heat issues this round, will be excited to see the Tahoe at full potential

SFV OG kush is an awesome strain super potent just grew it myself last cycle

How was the stretch when you switched over the sfv og, I think the Tahoe increased by 2.5 the size when I switched over. I grew out the thc bomb as well HUGE YIELDER real dank wasn't the best tasting if I remember though

Stretch wasn't bad at all really tight node spacing, It was about a 50% increase in height.

I go to 50% to 70% amber without hermie problem is more the genetic the cause unless your grow room is not dialed

Correct.

Some Indica, and some Sativas ( not all though ), do really well with amber. Especially, if they have some "Amber" genetics

Also, like you mentioned previously, having your grow room dialed in helps a lot with ANY pheno-type, any mutation, and any experiment really.

I have some Tahoe OG sitting at about week 9. Anyone care to give input on how ready she it to be clipped and dried? I’m leaning towards harvest. It’s been damn hot and dry here in Santa Fe, NM. Doing my best to keep her protected and wet. The Buds are heavy and compact. They do spring back some. Not as sticky as some strains I’ve grown. Like I said it has been 100 degrees and dry, dry, dry…. She’s on drip irrigation and gets weekly fertilizer.

Long story with this plant. Got seeds from Pacific Seed Company. Was not happy with the quality. I believe this is actually an auto flower speed even though I ordered light sensitive seeds. They sell this strain both fem’d or auto. This one started to bud out at about 10” tall It’s an outdoor grown and the sun and temps were right so can’t explain why she went off early other her than it being auto flower. At any rate her sisters are 5 feet tall and just now moving into the flower phase. Odd for sure. Want to complement Pacific Seed. They refunded me on the seeds.

Anyhow, first time I’ve grown this strain. Thoughts anyone?
