You are going to run me over the coals for this one.

Hubby and I take a shower together every day and have for years. I was bent over 'picking up the soap' and I stood up fast and hit my head on the shower door HARD. For a moment I thought I broke the door. Thank God that didn't happen trapped in a shower with a wet senior citizen would not be fun.

Anyway I knew I did something but just went about my business. Then I started with the cold sweats, feeling nauseous, HUGE headache. When I complained to hubby he looked at the back of my head and I was bleeding. Why didn't we see that when I was in the shower? I have no idea. So end of story is, I have a concussion and a 'sprained' neck and upper back. Amazing, the symptoms took hours to appear.

They gave me some muscle relaxers for today and tomorrow (they will be gone by tonight). They didn't say anything about not sleeping so when I got home I took a Vicodin and 2 flexril. Slept like a baby. Still have a slight headache though.

That'll teach me to jerk back when the old man puts a dick in my face. We left part of the story out for the doctors.

^^^^ I'm sorry that happened 2 U. Getting hurt in the shower hurts a lot! It's been many, many yrs since the last time I slipped in the shower but I will never forget how hurt I felt .....ow!

2 stitches. I don't remember shots hurting that much.

Edit: I think it is 2 stitches. I can feel something back there.

OK, I'll run you over the coals, But please be quick, because I have to light them soon. Good foot soap is being kept available.
Just glad it's not serious. Bummer about the bathroom mirror. Ammonia helps with that.

Y'all have been married HOW long and he still hasn't figured out to provide the "high estimate" of spousal pain, suffering and general incapacity, with Mimosas and chocolate in bed?? He can mix his own Stiff Coladus for a few days, methinks. cn

LOL! Thanks for being candid about it! Your 'old man' must be a man b-cuz I'm sure he had to stop and forget about his dick.....and then he probably had to get you out of the shower himself....Sounds like a real man! Kudos!
