if you put it under the 600 to close it might be heat stress,, water every other to every 3 days... but it looks good to me.

Dude your overwatering try to feel the weight of the pots when they are full of water, and then feel them when the top is crusted over. If you cannot tel use the finger method and shove your finger 1" deep and feel if there is any moisture, if not then water.. You need to run a fan and use your hps. the plants are lanky and you need to strengthen the stems to support heavy buds, so a fan is ideal. Next time just use the hps for veg and flowering and you should be fine. If you insist on using cfls put the light within 2-3 inches of the canopy so you don't get a crazy stretch. Good luck man

Looks fine to me.
Splats are probably water spillage onto the leaves creating a lensing effect with artificial lights.:joint:

It's clearly overwatering, the leaves are sagging down on the last pic, if it were heat stress the plants leaves would be dry and brittle and be curling down.

I'm just going to say this.....you were better off with the flourescents with seedlings. Hold off on that more powerful light until you are in the flowering stage. I just started a clone----at not even an inch tall--- only a couple of weeks ago, with ONLY one 26 CFL....and it's already 6 inches. HPS is NOT always better.

just wanted to let babs34 know the hps will keep much shorter distance between nodes than cfl's ever though of.. what good is a 6 inch plant with two nodes?? and your right you should use a more powerfull light in flowering thats why most people veg with a mh then switch to hps for budding, nothing comes close to HID lighting excpt the sun.

i do use a fan to ventilate the room and the 600w hps is more than 30inches away from the plants so it cant be a direct burn from the light... maybe a lensing effect like Natmoon said coz i spray the plants everyday...
also i do check the soil with my finger and only water when its dry about 1-2 inches down..
what do u all think????
