Yes, I agree with sunni, the stats are all over the place. I was at a Dental lecture last year and that's where I came up with my stats I posted earlier. There was also something else said in that lecture that I found pretty interesting...(but don't have any stats to back it up.) It was suggested that people who go into a profession for the love of what they do end up better off finically then those who enter a profession purely for the sake of money. Like I said, I don't know if that's true but that's what the presenter said. If I had to guess on that, I'd say if you are not happy in your job, you may be more inclined to spend tons of money outside of work to try to fulfill yourself... Those who are already happy in their working lives, don't need or want much other than what they already have. Work is where many of us spend the majority of our lives, it's so important to have a good heathy work place. I guess that's why people like myself and April turn to others when our situations are difficult to deal with.
