Tall Plant but not BUSHY?!?!?!

My plant is about 5FT tall. I have used only Miracle Grow Soil. It is really tall but not Bushy at all. Just a couple of branches sticking out.

This is my first plant so far, its a purple power. Ive tried to do some research and ive only came across that i might need more "Sulfur". Has anyone else came across this problem, any comments and ideas would work. :-?

Thanks,
-Michael

Please explain what type of setup you have.

Lights soil fertilizer etc

Well, some sativa dominant strains are more lanky, meaning they don't bush out as much as say, an indica.

sometimes if the temps are quite high and there is not much available light it tends to stretch in order to find some.
sativa strains are just like that "tall and lanky"
you could try tying her down "shaping" her or topping could be benneficial.

either you got poor lighting or the strain is very sativa dominant.
nevermind the bush man, worry about buds

I have 4 different strains 2 are tall and 2 are bushy the tall ones are sativa the bushes are indaca it's not always a nutrient problem sometimes it's a simple answer Just go with it and enjoy the rewards anything is better then killing it with change if its healthy i would say genetics

NOT to be a downer but think you should read up on soils mg not so good and training is good to good luck and keep going let the plant tell what it needs but you got to listen and read read but keep growing you get better at it be proud of what you are doing

I grow outdoors myself I seem to have better luck but I mix my soils I mix a miracle grow soil with black earth and mix in a product I produce at work called essential minerals it's a lava ash mineral we sell it to medical growers across canada I started it last year had 2 really nice plants and I grew 2 without the mineral and they were half the size I can only grow 4 at a time that's the limit in province
