Anyone know were i can get 2-3 gallon pots that are tall and skinny? Im working with only one 400w and im looking to maximize my space. I figured i would give the lollipop method a go and try and get 10 northern light fems under my one light. Im thinking about just using the 3 liter soda bottles if i cant find anything else similar.

You could get a roll of screen for cheap and a pack of zip ties to hold the screen onto the bottom. It would probably work great

Anyone ever grown in pvc piping? You would have to design some sort of base for it, but if a man had endless seeds or clones it could be worth looking in to. Maybe 4" across and 18" deep or something. Have a big table with little compartments that each one sits in. Im sure its been done before.

edit: didnt see toms post before submiting this one. I think PVC would work better though.

You DO NOT need thin pots to do the lollipop technique. Lollipoping is simply cutting off the lower 1/3 of the nodes to allow bud production to concentrate on the top of the plant, you can do this with either large or small containers... so if its a space issue just get some small pots...
I currently have 7 BB ladies on their 6th week of flowering that were lollipoped a week before the switch to 12/12 check it out:

So why not use the corrugated piping and then you could spray paint it white to ensure that the roots will stay nice a cool

Why not take a hint from outdoor veggie gardening. Use a raised bed. Use some sort of large tub or make one square, and as deep as u want it. You could then pack the plants in there however close you wanted them. After i finish this current grow i just started i want to do this same type of raised bed with clones and flower them after just 2 week veg or so. Really pack the plants in there maybe like on 6 or 8 inch centers and fill the bed. There would be no wasted space as with seperate containers. Concentrating on the main cola. I guess what they call a sog. I think you could call this RBSOG?

Happy Growing
Peace

Im thinking dieselryders in the tpot2 with the tray could work. 1.65 gallons per pot. 4 per tray. Each pot is 6" x 16". I gotta think you could put 4 trays under a 400w if not 6.

looks like the tray would double as a pot for a bigger plant with excelant drainage
