Tall White Widow? 6+ ft.

This is my 1st grow of White Widow. I always thought (and have seen a multitude of White Widow shots to show it) that White Widow was an Indica dominant plant and were shorter plants. I started my white widow from seed - Dutch Passion feminized about 10 weeks ago. I vegged for a total of 8 weeks from sprout and took 2 clones before putting her into flower 4 weeks ago.

She was 42 inches when she went into flowering and is now 74 inches tall at the end of 4 weeks of flowering.

White Widow - Short or tall plant?

Or could the seeds be wrong or just a different phenotype?

BTW - The plant on the right is a DP Blueberry feminized. 1st grow also.

according to nirvana seeds its a medium height plant. also i think most of those pics you've seen have been plants that have been vegged for about 4 weeks. a lot of people on here veg for around that length of time. you vegged for 10 weeks. thats more than 2 months! the plant is probably close to its maximum height.

you including the bucket in that height? 8' ceiling...1 foot from ceiling....18" or so of bucket....plant looks just under 6' to me.

Im agreement, unusal hts. for WW. But under optimum grow conditions. Very nice plants, healthy and happy, leaves almost growing straight up.KUDOS

Top that puppy,,, then you will have more room and you can clone the top,,,,,,WIN/WIN,,,, man, I wish I had the patience to grow a plant that big,,,,post some pics of the buds on those monsters, when they bud,, I would be very thankful......:weed:

Yes, there's is 6 inches of stalk under the rocks plus the heighth of the net pot because I drill out the center of the top W/F bucket and set my net pot directly into the bottom of the bucket and feed the rootball through the hole. Then I bury the first six inches or so of the stalk under the clay rocks.

But, I didn't count that heighth. I put her up against the wall, stretched her up, marked the top of the cola and measured from the floor to that mark. You can't see it very well, but she is double bent; at the bottom and at the top to be able to fit mostly under the lights. I have tied string at two or three different points with tension to try to shape her a little shorter; not lst, but similar.

BTW - I'm not trying to see how tall she'll get. I'm trying to get her as tall as my closet will fit. But in the end, I'm just trying to get quality herb for my own pleasure; most of which comes from the growing.

Don't be such a critic or disbeliever.

Couple of pics of my Dutch Dragon and Strawberry Cough girls. Very lovely girls in pairs.

i grow the ww and only veg 4 wks. they get maybe 3-4 ft. if left longer they may be 6ft dunno but your leaves and everythig else looks pretty much like a hybrid indica dominate ww to me. my ww is way more stable than my jack. i have only had 1 different pheno with the ww. it was way on the indica side. i say beautiful man, really nice looking plants. i think you got her "dicked" so to speak.

White Widow at 7weeks flowering.

Bad luck though; the main stalk cracked about 4 ft. up when I was putting her back in the closet. Not cracked all of the way through, but bad enough that the top needs tied up. I'm going to start flushing tomorrow to see if I can at least get the top flushed out.

The trich's are mostly clear with some cloudy and amber ones.

man! that is a healthy looking plant. Reps for you.
Does it stink pretty well? my three 8" tall LR's are smelling up my room into my hallway and I have a vent to the outside, I have no idea how they are making that much odor.
Crazy...
I can't wait to grow the WW...it looks insane.

Well after 9 weeks of flowering I chopped the 6+ foot White Widow. It's hanging now to dry. Didn't weigh it wet, but got 32 stems with most having 4 bud sites and a 9 inch main cola. I'm hoping for 2 ozs.

Quick dried a few small buds that fell off during trimming. Put them in a closed paper bag and placed the bag on the heating duct for a couple of days.

Just tried it. Buzzzzzing! Head high with a lemon tast and aroma. The drying area smells like lemons also.

I can't wait to finish drying and curing the rest of her. I'm pleased.

Her daughter is ready to go into flower now. I'm going to keep this strain going for awhile.

Im thinkin the lemon is a good thing,,,,, I might have to try this too......:leaf:

Just trimmed the WW for jars to cure. Dry weight ended up at 61.8 grams. I'm very pleased.

Sticky and lemony. MMMMMM. Tasty with a head buzz. Good shtuff.

wow only 2 Ozs from that big ass plant? damn..

Took up a lot of growing space. Plus drying takes about 70% or so of the weight.

But these are under T5's so the buds aren't as dense as flowered with a hps. I've got a shitload pile of buds though. Some very dense; others not so dense.

I love the buzz though. I'll figure a way to increase the yield with my limited grow area. I have a HydroFarm remote ballast convertible 400 watt MH/HPS light with a vented hood and glass diffuser waiting until I get the grow area finalized.

im looking to throw some ww from greenhouse outdoors but im also trying to hide it in tall grass/edge of the woods for a guerrilla grow does anyone know how tall these ladies will get outdoors? im thinking i might top it or put them out late so they dont have alot of veg time maybe tie them down any help would be great from some one who has done this or knows for sure the hieght range same q's with white rhino
