Tangerine Dream or Super Lemon Haze??

Just wanted opinions from those people who have (preferrably) grown or smoked either Super Lemon Haze from Greenhouse Seeds or Tangerine Dream from Barneys Farm? What do you like more? etc etc....anything positive is welcome :) cheers n happy growing RIU :)

Orange and lemon are some of the most common flavors in cannabis. Try to find something chocolate and you will cull lots of citrus along the way.

Nice buds. What ppm do you run your nutrients during early-peak flower? Your plants look similar to mine, but you do have larger buds. That's been my only complaint about the strain, I only yield a little over 3oz/plant with SLH compared to 4-5 for most of my others.

Hey I've been thinking about ordering the super lemon haze too. I actually have a 5 pack of tangerine dream on the way... The reason I didn't order the SLH is because they say they grows pretty tall... How tall were these in the pics? How long did you veg them and how tall were they before you flipped them to 12/12? With this info I can decide weather to order it.

Lately I've been topping and super cropping mine into 24-30" tall bushes. It works great.

i topped twice, veged 21 days using gh floranova ph 5.9 using keep it simple recirculating schedule i mix according to gh schedule i dont have a tds meter using rockwool blocks & slabs on home made 3x3 e&f tub 1000w hps gonna expand my room from 36x48 to 54x54 to allow a true 4x4 tub my current grow is 3grape-ape 3,querkle & 1 slh i highly suggest a 10 pack of slh & then select the best phenos as there are a few slh can be very rewarding & my best grow to date ive also started some of sannies stuff too while not a big fan of greenhouse seeds i gotta say slh has been good to me

p.s. mine generaly go about 36-40'' tall after topping,fim'ing & supercropping it can get tall if you dont take steps early on to tame it

I'm talking specifically about the Super Lemon Haze because you commented that you didn't get it because you read that it gets really tall. Even if I don't top it, and only supercrop once it only gets about 40" tall. If I totally let it go it will get up around 5', but it's really not hard to tame.

Nice 24-30 inches works, I could go a bit higher. Guess I'll see if I can find some clones locally 1st, if not I'll order some seeds. I didn't know what super cropping was so I watched a bunch of videos on YouTube... Looks sweet, and easy. I've topped but usually only once early. Are you guys topping several times to bush it out? Like each time you top, you top all your branches pretty much? Or just 1 or 2 of the main stems?

Loving the input guys! I went with the SLH myself.....height isn't an issue for me....was really looking for the best overall strain between the two with the intent of finding something that was just knock out stuff....I feel the SLH consistently got better reviews......gotta try it out.....already have BF's LSD, Sweet Tooth and G13 Haze going.....btw, I'm growing these in soil under (4) 600w lights in a 8x9 room :)

Weird.. Your last posts weren't there when I started typing my last post. I had to run and grab my tape measure. 36-40 inches would work. 5 feet tall and my outer row of plants would get no light. Sounds like it may be worth the work, maybe even fun trying to tame the beast.

Hey I might hit you with a PM about your room size and lights...

Yeah I've read some reviews saying the TD is tough to germinate, and some inconsistencies with plants that do. I'm just hoping to germinate 1 quality plant out of the five I ordered.

I've only tried SLH outta those two but I am gonna try TD this time around. But the SLH is really great if you like a sativa high.. Probably the best sativa high I've had in my life and the plant is really easy to grow.
