Please explain what specifically leads you to believe the claims there are bogus, for the education of all of us.

Oh sorry guys, i made a typo by saying bogus claims about their wattage i meant LEDS in general not bogus claims by tasty. Like all those ufo and china ones that claim to have high wattage and put out like 10% of what they say they do.

Which model by tasty would perform the best for my closet grow. I will be growing about 3-4 autflowers in a grow tent in my closet the dimensions are 2' 1/2 wide by 4' long by 6' high

There's a ppfd table right on the tasty home page, I'm not sure how much is optimal but I've heard 800-1000 being thrown around here.

I wonder if that could be a turn-off to the average Amazon/eBay purchaser. I think they just want to know how a light fills a space, it's footprint. If they have to start abstracting that into umoles (and other acronyms) they may wonder if they're joining the Masonic Lodge instead of buying a light.

Maybe the OP has some thoughts about that.

I'd like to mention that if a light doesn't fit the OP's space well, household LED lightbulbs are a reasonable way to supplement.

So maybe instead of ppfd it should read

Regular (800ppfd)
Super (1000ppfd)
ULTRA (1200ppfd)

I have a 2x4x7 tent and I chose the T4-1750. It's currently out of stock and so is my second choice, the T3-2100 but e-mail and ask about them.

If I ever sell on Amazon/Ebay I might simplify, but the tools on the main page aren't that difficult to understand, illustrates the range of possible light intensity and helps plan for individual wants. There are some tents like 2.5x4 that I don't provide information for and I can see how that would cause issues. I'm constantly thinking about, may make changes eventually.

@Rman18 I think a couple T2s would be a good fit for that space.

2 T2-1750s would provide about 650 PPFD. These are available and would be a good choice
2 T2-2100s would provide about 740 PPFD. Also a good choice if you don't mind waiting a couple weeks.

I will be offering several T2-2100s soon, within the next week or so as long as Cutter doesn't let me down (They were supposed to ship me a batch of COBs this week but didn't follow through on their time estimate.) I will also have some T3-2100s available in the same time frame.

Other options:

1 T3-2100 would provide 560 PPFD in your space.

1 T3-1750 would provide 490 PPFD in your space. A bit low, but still much better than a Bud Boss. Bud Boss = 150 watt input, so maybe 130 watt output at (?) efficiency. T3-1750 = 186 watt output at 53% efficiency.

T4-1750 would work too (same as 2 T2-1750s), but it will be a while before any more hit the website that aren't already spoken for. On the extreme end, 2 T3-1750s would fit well in a 2.5x4 and provide about 1000 PPFD.

Rahz i appreciate you reaching out to me on helping me find the right light. Do you think it would be ok to start with just 1 of the T2- 1750? for budget wise. Then add in the second one a week or two later?

Although I don't have technical specs on the Bud Boss I suspect a T2-1750 would provide more light than a Boss. That being said, you would probably want to center it over 2-4 plants and leave 6-8 inches bare on each side until you can get more light in there and fill the whole space. You could flower the whole area if you raise the light up high enough and would achieve and average of 325 PPFD. I don't have any experience with that light intensity but I don't think the results would be bad. Similar results either way, nugs more dense with the light concentrated, probably a little more yield if you use the whole space.

Most people ask and I would like to offer discounts, but I would need to raise my prices to do so :D

I have actually considered doing that. Not seriously, but it has crossed my mind. I was talking to someone planing a light scheme a couple weeks ago and they were considering my lamps or another brand. The difference in cost for the same amount of light from the competition was $500 more. IOW, the other brand could offer a $500 discount and match my price.

Are you the owner of Tasty Led's @Rahz

Do you think a grow tent 2feet by 4 feet by 6 would be too big or overkill for 3 or 4 plants?

I am the owner of Tasty LED.

I think the most natural use is 2 plants grown out into 2x2 bushes, but 3 would still be a good fit. 4 could be done too but the plants would need to be trained little more. I guess the best bet for a quick veg would be 3 plants.
