tattoo desing help

i am going to get a new tattoo soon and i need a little help finishing it up. im getting a warrior angel wearing spartan armor. in his hands he is holding a flag pole with a white flag on top that is on fire. i want the tattoo to mean "never surrender" so i figured since the white flag is the symbol of surrendering it would be appropriate to have it burning. i want to put a banner or some words in it somewhere that say never surrender but i do not just want it to say plain "never surrender" i want something that makes people think a little more and is a little more interesting. so if anyone has any ideas on what it could say let me know. also if anyone has any other general ideas about the tattoo im open to opinions

What is your heritage? you can have that written in the text of your forefathers if you want?

thats a good idea but im really not sure what my heritage is. i have never really looked into it. maybe i can find it somewhere on the internet.
