Teas in coco advice

Hey guys I have some questions about teas ... I have only three runs under my belt so I'm still very new to growing but I'm doing pretty well for a new guy. So I've come to this site once again to get advice from experienced growers

So teas. I was told it was a waste especially in coco. I met Someone recently who highly recommended them and he's running the same nutes as me and swears by it... After doing a little bit if research I figured I'd try it. What bad can happen? Besides wasting money???

So my questions would be as follows ...
1. Tea Good in coco ? Yes or no?
2. When you feed the tea to your plants it takes up a watering so how would I fit it into my feedibg scheadule at once a week ?
3. And if it takes up a watering does it flush your nutes out of your medium ?
4. Feed tea mix until run off?


I'll take any advice or experience that you're willing to share. Thanks in advance

1. I run worm tea in Mother Earth Coco along side my complete General Organics nutrient line.

2. I usually feed with my nutrient solution and then feed right after with my worm tea. I've use it at every feeding so far... My experience has shown great results.

3. It may flush some nutrients out but I'd imagine it does not flush anything not excess from the coco.

4. I always feed til runoff and I always apply tea til runoff.

From what I understand is it is a beneficial bacteria and fungi. It also helps to break down organic nutrients for more successful uptake of water/nutrients. I could be wrong but either way my results have been great using it so far

I bought vermacrop organic tea. The instructions are vague. I found a recippe on there site. Basically I mixed two of the three part recippe together and added some water to make like a stiff mud consistency. I am supposed to let that sit for at least 24 hours then mix it with there third part and add to the resivuor of dechlorinated water and let that sit another 24 hours... So my next question is do I just dump all of these in resivuor straight up? or do I have to make it into a "brewer" of some sort that I keep reading about online. Forgive my ignorance. Today is my first day of looking into teas.

My local grow shop supplyer would give me fresh tea every 2 weeks for free. keep it aerated with air stone. Wash hands if come into contact. Throw it in your coco soil st8 into coco no drip tubes they clog easy. It works fine.

looks like this thread dying. i usually flush once every week with a compost tea. also if it looks like they need it, i'll toss some into the feed water and water with feed + tea. make sure u are finish mixing your feed and ph it before u toss in the tea tho. also another friend of mine just likes to feed pure tea to each root zone for maximum efficiency
