To be a kid again... I was messing around on my buddy's bike a few months ago, couple bunny hops, riding wheelies, endos... I was hella sore the next day. I can only imagine busting my ass on ramp now a days. Bike or board, I'm done

I have a couple of these.

Pulled em out this summer....... It's been a few years lol. Oh I ate it good! Wife asked what happened to me.....told her "I was trying to show the kids dad used to be cool" she got a kick out of that. :blsmoke:

Always thought that the "maestro" suspension was pretty good, other than for some nasty chainsuck especially on their longer travel bikes.

My wife has one. The rear can suck up a rock garden under hard pedaling. I like it.

I think the Rein was the model above it, if I recall it was 6 and 6 in suspension travel, Trance was 4 and 4.

It was a 2017 trance 2 that was upgraded from slx to xt. It was a nice bike but neither of us liked the black/green colour combo. There was a ton of chainslap on that bike, especially on rough terrain as the chainstays got shorter. I'd hate to ride with an older rear mech that doesn't have a clutch.
Old inner tube or tire zip tied works awesome for chain slap.

Yeah thin chains don't like getting jammed between the tire and frame very much. I like clutch derailleurs but don't like the extra drag or the noise they emit, least the earlier ones seemed to.

I'm 49 and still try to ride everyday in the summer. Makes me feel glad to be alive. I broke the two bones in my fore arm about 8 yrs ago from biking, so I keep it close to the ground these days. Still air it out a bit on the half pipe, but nothing fancy.

E-Recumbent. You can still sit on your ass and smoke weed all day and get some fresh air.

I had to look up clutch..... I've been out of the scene for a few years. Great new tech! I want to try one.

Ever try that? It's weird and hard to balance. I've never used a 3 wheeled one though

You only see them on 1 x drive trains. When I got my kona I had no idea why it was so hard to move the cage forward so I could remove the rear wheel, then someone pointed out the clutch switch. :dunce:

I've never rode a bent, I think you have to be over fifty, with a mirror fixed to your glasses and a beard to ride one.

Well I'm not over 50 kid!

LOL I don't ride them but a guy down the street from where I grew up had a bunch and let me take one out for a bit. He sometimes had a beard, definitely had a mirror on his glasses and probably over 50......he was odd to say the least lol
