I don't hate it but i do think they sell cheap chinese shit for the most part. i would shop there regardless if there was one close by. i go to kmart once in a while but even that's a distance. target is closest so i go there. they also sell cheap shit but better quality than walmart.

i hate walmart because...they are massive corporation who pay their employees poorly, provide zero health benefits..instruct employees to go to the nearest emergency room(tax payers) pay for that shit because they are so greedy...they import chinese garbage. put local businesses under with their cheap ass chinese junk.

i don't "hate" walmart because of how they do business. most corporations disgust me, but that's life. if i based my shopping according to how employees are treated my home would be unfurnished and i would have no cable. i hate walmart because the stores are disgusting and a disproportionate number of customers are also disgusting. and i hate how they never have enough registers open, and i fucking hate that spin wheel bag thing because something always gets left behind. they have cheap string cheese, though.
I do not shop at Walmart because of the impact Walmart has on local businesses. They are able to purchase items at much lower prices due to quantity purchased. The local mom and Pop store can't compete if your buying decision is based on price. Their purchasing department renegotiates contracts once their share of the local market increases significantly. The local suppliers (plant nurseries, for example) lose most of their retail outlets and must reduce their margin or open their own retail outlet.
While this is a wonderful business model for straight capitalists, the scale that Walmart conducts these tactics is massive.
It is extremely difficult to keep Walmart out of a community.
These are a few of the reasons why I do not spend money @ Walmart.
