Temp issues.

I started a new grow and I’ve been having some issues with temperature. I have a 4x8 Tent, running 2 oscillating fans, 3 inline fans, (1 for exhausting the tent, and 1 intake from outside of the building, 1 fan that air cools the 2x1000w light bulbs, that air is pulled from the outside of the tent, and outside of the building as its pretty hot). The tent seems to be pretty well ventilated, but the temps still reach early 90's at the high point. I think the problem is the garage it’s in. There is no ventilation in the garage, and it's not insulated, so it gets pretty hot in there. I talked to someone about adding one of those spinning turbine vents to the roof, but they told me that doing so would attract a lot of attention.

My main question here is an easy way to provide some heat ventilation from the garage (or does it even matter since there is no insulation?) I was looking at buying one of those 12" Inline Fans that’s around 1200 CFM, and placing it in the middle of the garage at the top, and using ducting to window below, or would this just most likely be a waste of electricity?

I really appreciate all help for this as my plants are starting to look pretty heat stressed.

I think you answered your own question. The room the grow room is in needs to have access to cooler fresh air.

It seems to me you need to get in more cooler fresh air into that garage, and maybe also exhaust the hot out as well. If I had to choose jut one I'm not sure what I would pick because if all you are doing is bringing in more hot air by exhausting it out faster whats the point?

A basement or bedroom would have been a better choice for a grow room. I'm glad I didn't chose my garage.

Lol, I sorta answered it. The garage has no air movement at all, and however how hot it is outside, wouldn't air circulating help to reduce tempature? I'm probably wrong on both accounts lol. I just need to find an easy way to help reduce tempature in a non insulated room. Also I have 5 people living in this 3 bedroom house, and even though I wish I could be inside the house, it would be impossible without me kicking someone out lol.

I have a similar problem, with rooms inside a garage. The exhaust from ac's, vented lights, a chiller, etc. In the summer, The garage will have an ambient temp of 105f when outside temps are 80-85. I'm considering trying layflat ducting. I'll connect it to my portable ac exhausts, which face straight up, and direct them toward an existing 12" turbine/vent. A friend who is a welder told me about it. I googled layflat ducting and it's fairly cheap, without running bulky obvious metal ducts. If I can expell 1/2 of the ac exhaust, it should lower garage temps by 10 degrees. Thus, the grow rooms will also drop in temp

need more info to help you out dude. I think you have found out that just blowing air around only makes it hotter. You do need to cool the garage. I however wouldn't cool the garage, I would just pipe an inlet from the outside on a good fan and plumb it right to the tent on a temperature controller. Put the cool air where you are going to need it.

Put air, like water, takes up space, so to pump air into the tent or garage, your also going to have to have a place for it to escape. One of those big gable end vents would work, or several of your "Standard" 4 x4 roof vents.

If your going to power your inlet then your going to have to build a large inlet and have the ducting size decrease to the appropriate size or your going to get a pretty loud whooshing sound.
