Temperature fluctuations!what’s acceptable ?

I like cooler temps and lower humidity versus high temps high humidity. To each their own though, I just did a test run with high temps high humidity 85 °F : 60% RH and some of my larger colas produced botrytis (bud rot) even with adequate airflow.

When you run hotter temps you need higher humidity for proper transpiration (vpd).

To each their own, just sharing what works and has worked for me for 5 years.
My comment was regarding early flower (weeks1-3), as per your previous post. I would never run 85f in late bloom.

My tent runs around 85 degrees during lights on and 65 at lights off.

My outdoor plants experience 30 to 40 degree day to night differences.

@bk78 15.55c - 32.22c difference in temp for the illiterate of the world ;)
Outdoor plants are very prone to pm and bud rot because of those temp swings. Putting a small heater in the tent on an inkbird keeps the pm and rot away. I put the heater on top of a ceramic tile

High temps required for high transpiration rates with added co2 to be beneficial. Your temps are just fine, 8C difference is sweet spot which stress plants the less. I realised that cannabis plant heats up and starts drinking water like elephant, then problems with nutrient balance starts to appear. (both soil and hydro)
Root temperature is another thing. Try to keep roots warmer than 16C and it will be alright. This can slow down metabolism and even lock out nutrients, due to overwatering risk. (leds + low temperatures + low root temps = bad nutrient uptake + high intensity led lightning = loooots of problems, shady lockouts, overwatering, root rots and even possible infections or some latent viroid attack, which was silently sleeping in the healthy strong plant, waiting for the momment to "shine")
Better to make all chill, stable and keep it constant. This is biggest key to high yields and healthy happy plants. Then plant gets stressed, it will never be the same happy plant it was before. Thats what I am facing right now. 4months of hard care wasted, lots of $$ and etc. Just because I did not managed to keep temps, feeding, led lightning ppfd at perfect balance. But at least, will have something to smoke in the end, even it will be 20% of what actually could be...
