temperature problems

im using a 250 cfl in a small space and cant keep the temperature under 83º, How far from the crop can i hang a 250w cfl?

83 is ok but if you want an easy fix just put a piece of plexi glass in between the light and plants.

Yup, plexi glass, a fan, or more fans, or u can buy a air vented light hood, can get a little pricey but will 100% fix ur problem

for a quick fix to temp probs you can put a frozen 2ltr of water infront of your fan

just dont let temps get higher than 90

and you can test if the light is too close by putting your hand next to the bulb. the distance where you feel warmth and not heat is the ideal canopy/bulb distance
