The temperature in my tent is around 90 degrees! but the humidity is only around 35 percent? My babies are around 3 weeks in and i am wondering what the right temperature and humidity should be. As well as what i need to do to fix it. Thanx

Thanks for all the specific info about your setup for me to be of use.

Ok ideal temps are
day 75F
night 65F

Humidity
40%-65%

Give some more specifics about your setup such as
lighting
Filtration
Room Size
Ventilation system

etc

as much as you can think to tell me.

Then i maybe able to help you more.

if you can't lower the temps get more air circulation. they will drink more water and cool down with more air movement.

Ive got a 4X8 sunhut tent with a 125 w HCL going on 3 headband kids. Ive got a 6 inch maxair fan outside the tent with ducting connected to one of bottom vents for my intake and an oscillating fan in the top of the tent circulating air out of the top vents that i have opened so air escapes as well.

IMO, you really need to buy a 6" inline fan for proper exhaust for that size tent. Greners has a nice selection. I like the Vortex inline fans the best.

Seems very hot considering ya only using a 125w light... Need better intakes.. Or a cool tube .or both..

go to htgsupply.com for fans, it's much cheaper, almost half the price. they don't have the junction box, but you don't need it. the cfms are higher meaning better air cirrculation. good luck on those temps

I've been having temp problems it seems forever, i hit over a 100 at times, my plants have survived and produced. if you can get temps under 85 you'll be golden

yeah i think its mainly because we live on the third floor (top) in the house. Would it work if i stuck an AC unit in the window?

4 x 8 = 32 sq ft. 3,000 lumens per sq ft while vegging, 5,000 lumens per sq ft for flowering so your 125w cfl (8,000 lm) is grossly inadequate. Turn the fan you have around so it is drawing air out, not pumping air in. This will give you negative pressure and suck the sides of the tent in. This will stop smells escaping. You do need to address your lighting and ventilation though. If you want correct advice, pm me. I am happy to help. Remember, plants are the result of environment, genetics, nutrition, grower skill. Ive got 3 headband plants! Im getting a window unit tmrw. That should help the temp somewhat but i dont want them to get too cold and it keeps a constant temp and isnt that a problem when they go to sleep? Isnt the temp supposed to be like 10-15 degrees cooler while they sleep?
