Is it possible to put my 400watt hps over my veggys. Im needing something to hold them over till my t5s come in next week. All i have are my tiny 25watt cfls over them holding them over:-( thanks for the help

yea actually u can use the hps for the whole grow i have a 400 w and ive been growing with it perfectly no need to switch :)

Yes indeed, In fact I recommend you use the HPS for the rest of the grow since you are implementing it anyways.

Cool thanks for the help. What about if i use the hps and and then switch back to my t5's what kind of damage am i looking at. Also i dont have a glass on my hps so it gets pretty hot if i put the light a good distance away will it make my plants stretch more than itwould normally.

Putting them back under the Cfl's will be similar to putting the plants on puase.

The distance between the plants is important because the light loses some lumes after just a short distance.

Ya thanks for the help, So i shouldnt put them back under the t5's that makes since. Also i have my hps about 2 ft above my plants i have a mother under their right now or it would be closer.
