Hey, im about to do my first grow and I have recorded the temps and shit for the grow area... they are bumping 90 about, is this too hot or can I still sustain a plant in there?

Thanks in advance for any help and advice

90 with no lights won't work. Any kind of lighting will raise it and that would be too hot.

Your zen # is 78. Many gardeners spend 1000's to attain this. Hydroinnovations and liquid cooling is the way.

70-85 is perfect, 55-60 at night is certainly O.K., 90+ all the time is slightly problematic, 100+ all the time is more problematic. 110-120+F one time for several minutes will damage most plants permanently.

Reservoirs should be 60-70F or else its easy for contaminants to grow in your hydroponics.

i would try to get the temp down but i do know of lots of people having successful grows with the temp around 90-100..it coulda grown better and faster with the right temps but shit it still worked and they got some nice buds and pretty decent yields

Thanks everybody for your input, i just purchased some better fans which should do the trick. Plus i found that a nice jar of ice in front of one of the fans keeps temps down like a charm. Thanks once again.

actually 78F is the point that the plant stops putting all of its energy into growing and starts using some of it to dissipate the excess heat, 75F then you will be in no danger of reaching 78F+ and slowing the rate of growth
