how bad is low 80 for temps? what will it slow down by being 83 instead of 78?

83 isnt bad, Ideal temps are mid 70's with the light on. Your inside temp will change as the outside temp increase or decreases......I assume you are talking about a indoor grow, grow tent/box? Just try and keep you temps below 90, as thats when growth will slow down.

It's OK but not the best under 80 is better, unless you are using co2 than mid 80's are OK.

its fine,it all depends on strain too.some strains like it hotter,some dont mind cooler temps.

I had temps in the high 80s and even in the 90's with lights on and usually lower 80s with lights off a few grows ago. The buds were really airy and didnt turn out too great.

im doing tests now with bag seed so hopefully i have all the bugs worked out, before my seeds come from attitude. i'm growing in my closet. 160cfm exhaust fan and passive intake and door open little less then a foot.
