To imitate those grassroots living soil pots everyone raves about. Living soil likes consistent moisture I hear, and regular fabric pots can create a less fertile zone around the edges.

The net pot is filled with soil and sitting in the water. Acts as a wick, soaking water up into the container holding the soil. Capillary action.

Thanks, 1st time I've seen that.....very good to know.

It amazes me everytime I see how fast these babies grow. I'll probably let them veg another month and then flip.

I topped them and then supercropped them immediately after. Yes I know it was probably aggressive, just supercropping would have been enough and then I could have flipped sooner but I got excited after not seeing them for so long. Must be separation anxiety haha. Anyways it is what it is.

What do you think about the lateral splitting of the stem where I supercropped?

Cool, pretty easy eh? Got the same light, how high do you have?
Growing couldn't be easier than this.

It is now 18 inches away from the tallest cola. Not sure if I should lower it, most of the colas are between 21 - 24 inches away from the light. Seems a little far

It's about week 3 flower. I've defoliated and raised the light. Did some top dressimgband watered it in 2-8-4 gaia and some 4-4-4 gaia. Fungus Gnats are loving the soil, although the plant doesn't seem bothered by them. SIP is all too easy. Looks like a good start to bud development.

How do you support the bottom of the first container? When I put 2 bins inside each other theres not much room at the bottom and I can't imagine the net pot is holding all that weight from the soil. Are you just putting in pieces of pvc for support?

Yup as said above,i run 10 g sips after i top dress i pour a solo cup worth of water over the dry fertilizer.Having a lid on the dirt keeps the top moist, this in turn keeps the soil bugs happy.
Sips are really the way to go,you never worry about how much and when to water.Hydro growth with organic taste.
Just have her fill up till water comes out the little hole. Can top dress and water through the top once a month. She probably only needs to fill up once a week. Pretty idiot proof

7.5 weeks flower and it smells dank. I defoilated a bit last week. There is a swarm of scaridae, maybe I'll use mites next time. It smells outside I should put on the carbon filter. The right plant wanted to be tall so I netted it in early flower. The left plant grew bushy naturally after topping it twice.

I have bud rot.. an extra fan in the tent would have been wise. Blowing on the buds to prevent mold. My RH was 55 so that's not terrible I think it would have been fine if I have an extra fan.

I lost 5 huge top nugs. I could only hold 3 for the picture. Anyway I cut down that plant and will keep it separated from the healthy plant. I'll try to save as much of the infected plant as possible without risking smoking mold.. cowabummer dude
