no i just know wood it will dry out and crack on yah the shlack will slow that and duct tape keeps it from a complete fail so increases the chance u can save it if something does go wrong

np man i am bored so i think about things and ask ?s worked construction so i know well about sun baked it is why it is always stored inside in a container or under tarps

I don't have a socket head so the bowl is half a soup can. life is easy with duct tape

I don't have a good name for this one, maybe "das boot" or "damn that bowl is big enough to hold an ounce"

Edit: I got a bit overly stabby with the pen. that piece was recovered and isn't hiding in the duct tape.

that is where u can use a aluminum bowl ( u take foil roll it around a pen take the pen out and bend it makes a bowl) i studied with the man
