Tent or room setup with exhaust

Hey Rollitup

I just got done harvesting my first grow in a 4x2x5 grow tent, I have this tent in a "walk in closet". The size of this room is 6,5x6,5x6,5 it it like a cube. I have a few issue need help with to solve. Also i need to optimize this space for stealth. So i hope i can get some wisdom form you all.

1. I have a Prima klima 125 tc 400m/h = 1312Feet/h exhaust fan, this is connected true a "silencer". Then from the silencer to the door, with a 3 feet ventilation tube. Regardless of the silencer i still get wind rustles. So if I take an sound reading from the 4,9 inch exhaust, I have around 70 decibel. when i move a few feet away am down to 40ish DB. Anyways it is noticeable if i enter the apartment.

In this small room I do have a exhaust for the apartment, to the roof system. So my apartment pulls air from the windows along the floor in to the bathroom and the "walk in closet". To circulate the air and replenish the air in the apartment. I am really tempted to just install my exhaust to the closet exhaust. But am afraid it will fuck up my apartment climate. What do you all think?

2. Should i just skip the tent and make a grow room out of the room? if so can i use the rooms exhaust and seal this room of some how? If now can i some how reduce the rustles sound?

sorry for the wall of text, I hope my English is readable it not native to me. :)

I'd say go for the big grow, but only if your exhaust truly vents to the outside and not into a shared attic area (Condos, etc). I am not allowed to vent my microwave into my condo building's shared attic area as the grease would collect over time and become a fire hazard.

Yours is not a fire hazard, but a smell annoyance if it's like my condo attic.

I am not 100% sure if i share, But i did remember one time the land lord, did do some test readings, they said every apartment. Has it own pipe so there is no way in hell. That you can get your neighbor smoke in your apartment. The only way was. if I did open the inline "shaft" at the window.

Anyways since i bet there is a unit on the roof pulling, i don't know what would happen if i connect my line to it.

I was hopping for a vent expert to pop in. :bigjoint:

When I moved into a tent from a homemade cabinet in the garage, I chose a walk in also. The cabinet was 48x30, did 6 grows, all ok but nothing special. Hard time controlling temps, which made controlling humidity had also.
The walk in is 5x5.5 and the tent is a Gorilla 4x4. After I bought and set up the tent my GF looks at it and said, why did you not just use the whole room as I still had to cut holes in two walls for intake and exhaust air. Of course she was 100% correct. I am about to do dome remodeling here this year and when I do I am going to remove the tent and put it elsewhere, not sure where yet. I plan on still utilizing my 4x4 drain tray and the same amount of plants but will have space to move the plants around some, or go to a full set screen setup utilizing all the room.
I own my home so I am able to pull air into the room via a hole through the wall to a bathroom, the exhaust goes from the tent and again through a hole into the garage and discharged there.

Yeah am not in that position, I grow stealth in an apartment complex, i have an apartment above and under me and also next to me. So i can't cut what ever i want. And my "walk in closet" in right in the middle of the apartment. So it the worse place ever to pull air outside. I only have 2 airout vent. On in the bathroom and on in the closet.

And am kind of afraid to just connect it before consulting someone! :D

What comes to mind for me if I'm understanding correctly

If the tent is in the closet "room"- which itself vents to the roof, why not just scrub the air from the tent, dump it in the closet, and let the closet vent take it out? Vs venting through the door

yes that is a good point! but in the summer i get 97 f in that room, due to that plan. so i saw a hole in the doer. And now am venting it right out in the apartment. however the sound am getting at is about 80 db. So sleeping in that can be a bit annoying. the sound is only that strong at the exhaust.
