Terpy Seeds bait and switch (scammer)

I purchased 4 limited packs of seeds from terpyseeds.com
This was my second time ordering from him.
My first order was fine but my second order with the rare seeds were bait and switched.
On 2 of the packs he cut the top of the packs off so the package still looked natural and replaced the seeds with something else.
On another pack he sliced the tamper proof tape perfectly so it still looked sealed as a collector I know all the tricks to look for and on the last pack he sliced the seam on the bottom and melted it back together.
This was $1600 worth of seeds.
He likes to do the old bait and switch so be careful.
Others have also told me that they received envelopes empty but had a slice on the envelope that’s taped back together. He does this so it looks like the seeds were stolen. Little did he know to remember that there is a weight of package and it shows the same weight from the original post office.
He’s a scammer who plays legit as well so it equals out to lots of people saying he’s legit but there are many he’s been robbing like myself as well.
BE CAREFUL WITH THIS GUY

That sucks sorry to hear that. Also those post office scales are only good for a tenth of a gram at best. No way would they register any change from a bunch of seeds taken out.

Who the hell needs $1600 worth of seeds? Weed is not rare.
Either you are:
A: growing commercial, and still trying to cut corners :dunce: cuz that sure backfired... Shoulda went with a Well trusted bank, or directly with the breeder of choice yourself. For $1600... trust me.. they will pick up the phone/answer an email.

B: You are new to the game, and were taken advantage of. <--- I'm hoping this is home here..

or C. You are a competitor in the seed market and you're extra salty for some reason.. so you make accounts in random growers forums to throw mud on the next guy.

Maybe they cut them open and take any spares still leaving you your correct number of seeds?
I get a lot of 10 packs with a dozen or more seeds

Lots of unsupported statements of fact, innuendo, supposition.
Mostly slander, since you falsely attest he did it. All you can attest to is what you received.

All this happened, and yet no pictures of the dastardly deed.
Followed up by nameless gossip by others.

Collectors sure are a paranoid bunch, try growing for a hobby

Good to post to make people aware, if only all seed vendors were honest.

The seed biz is really something now a days, remember when you could order something and get what you ordered ? Any and all scenarios mentioned could be true, and to think of the trouble people expend to throw mud as other member said, people should apply more ethics in their business dealings, buyer beware unfortunately
