Not just cheaper, but smaller/lighter with better efficiency would be great. If their strategy is, as you say, to make cool(i.e. wasteful) cars first, *then* to actually get on board with being green(i.e. efficient), that would be excellent. It's just that they're sure getting some mileage out this cool part first. Fist car was sold in 2008.
Early adopters of technology are affluent and are more likely to buy a high performance sports car than a highly efficient economical piss pot. It was a clever marketing decision to go for those with the money to buy them.

It's funny when people act like they're pro-green, then piss on things that are too green. What's the word people use to describe conflicting ideologies, hmmm....

I conceded that I was wrong about keys and I said "tesla", not "EV cars". You can google it yourself, assuming you're interested in anything but trolling.

Maybe learn how to read, parse and comprehend.

Keep in mind he purchased the Lotus factory assembly line so it is limited.

I'm still waiting for you to concede that you were also wrong about Tesla consuming more electricity in a 30 mile stretch than a household does in a day. Or do you have a citation you'd like to post that proves you right? I think you are talking out your ass when you said that.

Or are you going to deny saying that?

Jesus christ, learn to read. As much as a house in a day in a 30 mile stretch at full throttle. Do you need to take a break and snort some adderall or something, so you can focus?

You're the absolute king of messing up information and then getting super aggressive with your twisted spin. Usually when I see folks like that, they come from idaho, or florida.

I'm not going to spoon feed you. Look it up for yourself. Don't you think you should do some research for yourself, before telling someone they're talking out of their ass? Oh boy I'd hate for you to be wrong about something after trolling me so hard for being wrong about something, maaaaaaaaan you'd sure look like a big fat idiot if that were the case.

(Tesla consumes) As much (energy) as a house in a day in a 30 mile stretch at full throttle

So, you feel like something is a certain way and that's enough for you? The above IS what you said, isn't it? (I clarified your statement using words contained in parentheses, I hope this doesn't anger you even more).

Let's look at the facts, shall we?

The Tesla 3 standard model consumes power at the rate of 0.19 kWH/mile.

kWH consumed over 30 miles by Tesla 3, standard model: 5.7
kWH consumed by an average household in one day is: 29

5.7 is less than 29

So, you are wrong.

I await your concession and expect an apology for being rude to me.

You are purposefully missing the ultra ridiculous caveat of 'full throttle for all 30 miles'?

What would happen in my car if I put my peddle to the metal for 30 miles straight?

When I looked it up, it was avg 3 miles per kWh.

I consume less than ten kWh per day in my house.

Excepting 110 degree plus days. I live in the desert.

Tesla needs to figure out how to make a profit selling cars. That's something they haven't been able to do yet. They're not going to be able to sell energy credits to the other automakers now that they're all making electric cars as well. Last quarter they showed a profit but it was from selling bitcoin.

The stock is also overvalued.
