Dude, don't listen to these guys about what the cops will do to you in Texas, yeah its illegal, and unless you plan on rolling with alot of weight, it all depends on how much of an adult you act like and just don't bullshit the officer, if you get busted, you get busted, but just be cool with them and most of them here are cool with you, he'll probably take your stash if he gets ahold of it, you will receive a ticket for possession if they feel like even writing it. You would'nt do jail time and get fucked by big bubba, thats all bullshit. Just do your shit with a little discretion and you will be fine.

thats simply not ture HankDank. I lived in tx for 20+ years. They WILL take you to jail for amounts as small as a roach! I have had it happen to me. I have seen it happen to countless friends.

deep in the woods somewhere in the hill country or in austin you're pretty fine. most other places you're not at all. whoever said don't cross willco county lines couldnt be more right. my last friend that got arrested in tx for mj was doing like 4mph over the speed limit inbetween houston/austin about halfway and when he got pulled over the officer smelled that he had burned down earlier and just smiled and said, alright "wheres the weed" 4hrs later he was out of jail lol, but you get it. It really is true in austin that they do just write a lot of possession tickets, even when i was younger my friends got possesion tickets all the time, what you don't want is more than one possesion charge on your adult record, even that can land you a small probation time and probation is a BITCH in texas

Yeah no kidding! I got popped a few years back up by waxahachie, driving 4over. All I had was two roaches, and I got an overnight in the can and 18 months probation, community service, and they had me do a drug awareness class for like a week.
Some kind of bullshit.

If I were here in the ATX, I'dve just gotten a ticket(maybe) and sent on my merry little way. I didn't let it get to me too much, however. I still smoke, and my VA doctor has told me she would rather me smoke pot than be on pain meds or booze. I write letters and send emails to "the powers that be" regarding legislation and how current policy is laughable, and quite unjust.

Ive lived in texas for 28 years, i've been pulled over with bud a few times, and its been alot more than a few roaches, never even been written a ticket. One made me dump it out in the ditch and another just took the shit. So don't say they WILL fuck you over, because it all amounts to the situation. Sorry yours went the wrong way, but just because its Texas does'nt mean every body heres a weed hating asshole who wants to throw you in jail for so much as smelling smoke on you. I gotta call bullshit..
