So upset guys just checked my Querkle seeds (5), all in germ. And everyone has turned to a slimey seed casing full of white puss. Looks like they all tried to sprout. 2 other diff. Beans did fine, all were side by side in coco ,under t5 and a heat mat. Germinated like this alot with great results, only thing is i have heard mixed things about using clear dome on seed starting trays, maybe humidity had gotten to high

I have found that germing my beans in a moist paper towel inside a sandwich baggie inside of a folded towel in my grow room (because of temps) I have almost a 100% rate of sprout...there are the few bad beans that just won't sprout but overall this method has worked the best for me...peace...BTW, TGA is really good about replacing bad beans if you take a pic and email it they will send you replacements :bigjoint:...usually...

Just wondering, why do you have your beans under a t5? Especially with a heat mat you don't need light until they have sprouted, I find they germ much better/faster in the dark

Steel, is that what you practice, by pre- rinsing your coco-coir/peat before use? Pretty efficient aye?

Well i found that my heat mat was running 95+temps on my seedlings in paper towel method , under humid-dome, sadly the trusted heating mat i used so many times before with zero problems was the seed killing culprate, after futher research i found out using the generic heating mat with no temp control is a big no no when germin seedz so live u learn, what i didnt realize was all the times I had use my mat before, it was with the burpees seed starting stations that had a water buffer between the medium and mat,,,whoops!
