Just wanted to post that 2 other Caregiver buddies and I have been growing Subcool's genetics for awhile, We have grown many of his strains with success and loved them . We still run quite a few of his strains. About 5 months ago we picked up some chernobyl since it was one we havn't grown yet and think we have almost around 80% strains already so since we really enjoyed his genetics being top notch we had to give it a whirl. Well I picked up a few packs of these from a hydro store up here in michigan were we aquired most of our other subcool genetics from and split em up between my other 2 buddies because we kinda like to see who can grow the strain the best. Like a challenge between us. Anyways to get on with the story . We all started em around the same time maybe a week difference. I moved mine into flower about 3 weeks ago. Well I went in the room like I always do few times a day and noticed that my pistols on all my plants were turning brown , so immediately knew something wasn't right. I check my plants vigorously to make sure no males or hermies are in the room. So anyways I am going through everything trying to figure out wth is wrong and started looking inside some of the calyxes and super little seeds. So I checked a few more and sure as heck everything pollinated. So I am looking everywhere to find a hermie or some male balls and nothing . Then as I am looking at the chernobyl's I see it. A few Nanners growing out of a Fan Leaf towards the top. Not very big either and not very noticable. So as I am staring at the leaf I see that they didn't open so I was still stumped . Wishing now that I didn't grow my plants so damn big so the leaf would of been more noticable but they taller then me so kinda hard to spot and I have never seen anything like this before in my grows. So back to trying to find the culprit . Have 2 other Chernobyls in the room so I checked another and nothing , checked the last one and again check toward the top fan leaves and nanners growing out of one and yes they were open, so I found my culprit. So I called my other buddies right away to explain what happened and my one buddy was just puting his one chernobyl into flower , rest turned out male for him so he only had one to work with and was only into flower for like a week and he checked it and so far it is fine , but I let him know just in case mine weren't a fluke to watch it so same thing don't happen to him. So anyways I call my other buddy who went 2 females and 1 male . He looked at his Chernobyls and one of his had nanners coming out of a fan leaf towards the top. Thankfully he thinks he caught em before they opened up and nailed his room like it did mine. So his patients will still have seedless bud , But for me I just killed 20 plants because I don't want to deal with seeds so I am at a loss for quality for my patients and praying it didn't hit my vegging plants. I have been giving my veg plants rinses with cold water now to hopefully kill any pollen in the veg room . All my calyx's on my plants in the flower room unfortunately got pollinated. I am not here to rip down tga subcool's genetics because like I said I grow many of his strains and have fallen in love with them and my patients have to. The reason I wanted to post this is because I just wanna warn other growers of what happened so they know if they growing chernobyl they might of got a bad batch of seeds also you never know and don't want to see what happened to me , happen to anyone else. I could see if it just would of been me this has happened to and blame this on myself I would of, but being that this went on with a buddies plant also and it is not like we are noobs at growing anymore, I am not saying I am anywhere close to a pro but I know I am at least somewhat decent. Also I talked to another caregiver earlier today that has grown chernobyl in the past telling him about this and supposedly he had 1 out of 9 or 10 have nanners on a fan leaf also . I cannot verify this guys grow because I wasn't there to see it , but again I am not here to tear into the subcool genetics because imo they are one of the best out there, but there is definately a bad batch of chernobyl seeds out there. I can't see how our packs could be the only ones . I just don't know , never seen anything like this , and between my buddies and I we have grown over a few hundred of subcools genetics with no problems.

I dont wanna seem like a dick here but your a caregiver with patients and it seems like you really dont know the basics of cannabis. A plant in veg cant be pollinated. A vegging plant isnt thinking about seeds or flowering. A vegging plant under veg time lighting is thinking about growing. You left out a good bit of info. What size of pot you were using and all that. Your plants could have hermied because of stress. I had two chernobyls turn out great i only planted 3 seeds and ended up with two females that not once showed any nanner sacks. could be stress somehow is your prob.

Well to start with how I know nothing about being a caregiver for my patients and knowing nothing about cannabis is crazy , as I stated I am no pro , but I am no noob either. By the way plants in veg can get pollinated . As soon as a plant shows sex (preflowers) it can get pollinated. In Veg plants can and do show sex. I grow most my plants for a few months in veg and usually 3/4 of them show me sex before I put them into flower. The 3/4 is just and estimate. As far as size my pots were like you said info I was missing out on , I usually run 1 gallon till they get a decent size and I know they are filling up the container decent with roots then I move on to 5 gallon Lowe's dark grey buckets. I have been growing this way for almost 5 years now and never had a problem . Well when I first started growing Like the first 2 weeks I over watered everything but that was 5 years ago , I didn't know any better then. More practice you get the better you are. I don't know why you would attack me to try to make me look stupid. Sometimes bad genetics happen . Not every seed is going to be perfect . Out of hundreds of seeds I have grown I had these 2 bad ones. I must be a noob....
Gonna contribute to this thread next few days and show some pics. I havn't really took to many pics but have a few and some nice sub nugs atm and also a video . Ill find the camera 2morrow and my sd cards.

OK guys I am getting there with Agent Orange and after posting my 5.5 oz plant 12/12 fs LED, I didnt I would have anything else to show about the strain :eyesmoke:

But it I am impressed with what I am seeing again!!

Look at the size of this bud !!

Also does this other Agent Orange appears ready to you? I now know it's worth giving more than not enough time to this strain because it really keeps packing on weight as time goes by and trichs too!! But I want to make sure I dont miss out on peak harvest.
