TGA By Others

Just ordered Sonic Screwdriver. And I'm having a heck of a time getting my TGA 3d to give me some male flowers off of my favorite pheno. This one after 3 weeks still has not switched. CS spray. Never had one this tuff!
My current 3D seeds are from light pollution caused by a strip-cord LED five years ago. Some plants will begin making seeds naturally from harvesting later than ideal. Cut all your primary buds like normal and harvest on time, but if you were desperate one of these stressors may force male flowers to happen. I made a male 3D so confused with light last month that it turned mostly female and began making female flowers on a male plant. On every little branch were female flowers at the tips. I had never seen that happen before. I made a lot of neat crosses with 3D.

I always forget Space Candy. Great fkn flavor and pretty decent high. Also not great yields similar to Space Bomb
Space Candy is only "pretty decent"? I have some I haven't grown yet. I had some pretty wispy Vortex plants. I had 3D with the "rotten/baby-poo" odor, PM, pathetic growth, and so I crossed it into other stuff. It was a neat little stupid plant. Funny odors are fun. TGA says it's about "recessive genetics" to get the best plants. They may grow poorly, but I love the unusual plants that grow from seed. I have nice Mickey Kush and Querkle budding. Harvested a 9 lb Hammer. I have a small 3D and Chernobyl a few weeks in bloom. Lots of other stuff and homegrown crosses, clones, and new sprouts from TGA, plus some of The Purps to grow and cross with a Deep Purple I have which is growing like dogshit as they say. Looks terrible, but it's dank and very slow, short, and Indica. My 9lb was like a Jesus OG Kush pheno. Tall. It's strong smoke.

My experience with Space Candy was different. Mine grew huge and tasted OK. Just wasn't my flavor. Piney...Took over 1/3 of the room. It was my only pheno. There must be a wide range of phenos on that one.

Decent to me may be killer to others . My intake is extremely high. I have a whole bunch of everything going now. Karma, TGA, Gage Green, Sincity Seeds, HSO, & local
Out of all that you have... What is your favorite? From seed... I have only used so many companies. First was Nirvana AK48. Then Barney's Farm Vanilla Kush . Then Cali Connection Sour Diesel, Chem91 and Alien OG. Then TGA Dr Who, Jacks Cleaner 2, Marionberry Kush and Space Candy. I wanna try some Rare Dankness but to dam expensive if you ask me. Up next will be TGA Go Time and Alchemy. Can't wait.

Its still TGA as I havent found flavors which top them yet, its Dr Who too. TBH I think all weed is my favorite, there is not 1. I am thoroughly impressed by what HSO has been doing here. So far have seen Blue Dream, 707 Headband, & Green Crack coming up.

Out of all the seed companies that have been mentioned I can't believe BROTHERS GRIMM hasn't been mentioned once by people here. There's suppose to be a release in April and to say I'm excited is an understatement! 99% of my garden is TGA and love the results I've and the genetics produced. TGA and Bros. Grimm will be the only thing I run from now on. I'm not even gonna get into the subpar results I've gotten from other companies in N.America and those euro genetics you should avoid like the plague! So there, I said it. bongsmilie

What about Chernobyl?! I am looking forward to growing those out :)
Chernobyl is right in there too. As I previously said, I dont really have a favorite, they are all my favorites. All cannabis is good, some better than others, and some much better. I also really enjoy the flavors of conspiracy kush and quantum kush made me giggle for an hour off of a fkn pinner. Sonic Screwdriver will be 1 of the next to go in the dirt when I have room.

Heres my take on chernobyl. Im sure there is that fire pheno, the golden ticket everyone talks about. When I grew it the yield was bad, had the long skinny buds. It also had a very dirty taste, both females I had, like a dirt or earthy taste. I always get rid of anything with an earthy taste, I really dislike it. That plus yield, no thanks.
I bought some at a dispensary in Seattle, supposed to be the golden ticket cut, not that impressed. But it might not have been, maybe not even chernobyl.
But I didnt do much of a pheno hunt. I think tga has a lot better strains imho, even if you get the golden ticket it will probably yield half what others will. Plus I need a strong flavored strain if its gonna stick around.
Same issue with yumboldt actually, one pheno smelled super earthy, and both had terrible yield. Lowest yields out of like 20 strains ive ran. But the one that smelled good... light watermelon/bubblegum. Curing now
Not bad mouthing tga at all. Ive ran alot of great stuff from sub.

No worries man. Just calling it like you see it imo. Each person is different. I like earthy tastes sometimes, others not.

Earthy is OK sometimes. I would like to try the lime Slurpee pheno. I'm a lemon and berry guy or any fruit.

I had a dream last night. I dreamt I was a dove flying over the sea. And then I dove into the ocean... And I swam with the dolphins. I was two animals joined as one... which meant - good things are coming. Good things.

On the topic of potency and tga, I feel if you aren't running the phenos more than once in clone form; you more than likely will never get what you want, that's with any strain pretty much but sometimes we dont get the potentcy but play with harvest times.... Just cuz them timeframes claim 8-9 weeks I've gone up to 82 days on cheesequake once... but for the most part the tga descriptions are pretty accurate I gotta say... Usually if they aren't super potent; its explained in the description...

I started out with tga more than a few years ago and for the first half of my obsession with tga I had the beginners luck of a god as far as phenotypes and being the perfect exemplars of the intended versions of the strains... Only I wasn't experienced enough to see that I should go out of my way to keep them... The second half of the years I've been growing tga has been almost a complete waste other than a few choice plants and all of that waste is/was my fault.... Out of 6 10 packs I have maybe 4 phenos that are ok but not firery Fire to show for all those beans... Reality-wise I should have a pretty nice selection of at least 5-6-7 killer-keepers to pick from out of that many packs of beans but without going into depth other than I fucked up.... I in no way blame tga... It's up to you/I as well as more than just a single seed run to verify dank or not:.. I have some Brian berry and some qleaner that I'm drooling over but I gotta wait and do these right cuz pheno-wasting isn't cheap...
