Obviously you guys misunderstood what I was trying to say. As far as phenotypes go, I guess you could call a specific pheno a "runt". What does this mean to me? Slightly slower in veg, and possibly a lighter yield in flower.

Now, having said that, look at the picture this guy posted, complaining about his "runts":

Those are not runts. Those are seedlings that got stressed way the hell out, and are lagging about 5 days behind their counterparts.

Once again, I'm not talking small differences in phenotypes that may constitute a genetic runt, AKA Tiny Bomb. I'm talking about noob growers fucking up their seedlings and complaining about "runts".

When running Sub's gear, you should expect a standard rate of growth. With this rate of growth, you MAY notice a few that are slower than the others, but NEVER like the picture above. Here is one of Sub's pictures from his cubing thread with 20 Vortex seedlings:

See the difference? If there is any *true* runts, you really can't tell in this photo. Now, look back to the above photo. That is stress- Not "runts"....

Am I over-stating myself? I'm not wrong, I know that.

Ok case settled... lets get back to dank eh. :-D
As you wish :)

Jilly Bean - This specific phenotype is beyond amazing. The buds are tall and lanky, but the early calyx stacking is amazing! The smell is ridiculous. I've smoke quite a few batches of JB. Nothing like this- Definitely limes, mangos, and something else which is indescribable. An overpowering smell that is dominating my grow tent. The aroma is smooth however, and not tart.

Jack's Cleaner 2 - Hmm... This is a new one for me. We're still early in flower, but things are looking slightly leafy with this pheno. Aside from that, the trichome production seems to be on some concoction of steroids and crystal meth. Holy crap. The smell? Like those really sour lemon slushie drinks you get at the state fair.

Chem Dawg - Not TGA, but a little eye candy never hurts - Froot Loops pheno

I should mention that the "runt" which I grew large in veg and will yield a good amount I harvested today. I smoked the scissor hash from it and it is absolutley amazing and tastes like candy. It gives me a happy blissful feeling. Straight up heavenly high. And it is working medically. I'm very impressed with this scissor hash so far and I can't wait to try out the actual buds.

Jilly B is on the top of my TGA Subcool list. I've heard that if you like sativa highs, then jilly is the one for you. Is this true?
Describe to me in 10 words or less the high off Jilly Bean...lol

I'll be doing an uncured high report in about a week from the runt. lol, i'm just used to calling her a runt because of her small statrue (thinner stems, but vegged long so it looked like a massive midget. think "honey I blew up the baby" how the baby was bigger but still a tiny person.) It smells like heaven and I love that scissor hash. I can't wait to try the actual bud (it did still yield less than the one still going)

It all depends on the grower, harvest time, cure, among other things- But generally Jilly Bean has a very uplifting mellow high. Top shelf stuff.

CheeseQuake.
Starting week 3 flower.
600w HPS GroLux
BioBizz All Mix 6.5ltr Pots
Bio Fish Mix - 1ml/Ltr
Bio Bloom - 2ml/Ltr
Watered every 2 days, given an extra dry day once a week.

Can someone give me an idea of what pheno i have? On the newer leaves i can see a few double serated leaves forming but its not as widespread. Moat leaves look like the one pictured.

All help on pheno would be awesome.
I am hunting for a cheese dominant pheno for that super musky stink!

Out of all the Cheesequake seeds, this is the only one that fully germed. The rest poked their taproots out 1mm, then died.
So 3 died, 1 female, and 1 seed left.
Never ever had a seed die on me, and only got my first male the other day. Been pretty lucky!
But as subcool said, "If the seed cracks open, its viable!"...more or less....i disagree though.

Lets see how this one goes!

Peace
TD

Identifying or documenting a specific phenotype is something that only you can do TDooda. Many times, specific phenos are given nicknames to help you differentiate the slight subtle differences between your females. This is not something that is set in stone - Growers often do this for themselves to help personify and seperate their plants.

As well- TGA Beans run an extraordinary success rate. If you managed to crack them it leads me to believe that the underlying problem is dampening off: Too much water. Your germination medium should be moist, not sopping.

I can agree to the fact that TGA Subcool seeds in my case have had an extraordinary success rate. The potency and highs for med patient grower like myself are always amazing. I just like other people in my situation to know whats good for digestive & quality highs, smells, flavors.

Too much water? I've germinated seeds in a cup of water. i think too little water would more likely be a problem.

nope too much water can be a big problem, I just killed a vortex being stupid and trying something different, overwatered the coco plug, seed sprouted a root, then rotted and disappeared. Went back to the trusty rapid rooter and am now praying my remaining healthy vortex will be a girl since I was an idiot and killed its brother/sister
