TGA Dairy Queen 12/12 from seed

Howdy RIU,

Well this is my 3rd attempt. Last one was from a bunch of feminized seeds via Nirvana. Most of them were small pale green/yellow. Only like 5 popped and they all got to the first set of leaves and just plain stopped growing. This was soil as well. So I trotted down to my local dispensary and got a pack of TGA Dairy Queen. about 3 weeks ago I put 3 of them into rockwool. 48 hours later they are all above 'ground'. They started in 3"net pots in a 10gal DWC rez. I have 2 pumps providing a total of 15l/m air through 3 cylindar air stones. I had them on 18/6 till they developed nice fan leaves then about 4 days ago I put them into 12/12 and a larger rez (now 30gal rez and they are in some cool plastic baskets I got at the dollar store. I built the little light hood out of 1x1's and white shelving. I am using the sun system 150w hps all in one hood, plus lots of extra cfls as they grow. Here are pics from this morning (3.5 weeks since seeds went in, 4 days since 12/12)



oh yea, I have them on FLoraNova Grow+FLoralicious+Rapid Start, I will change to FLower nutes once sex is shown and males are 86'd. The white thing is a temp/humidity sensor, the display and auxillary sensor is right betweem my air pumps. Temps are 75-80 on canopy and 65 at air pump intake. PH ranges from 5.5-6.1 right now ppm is about 800 and they seem to be loving it.

comments and advice more than welcome, lets hope I see a harvest here!

very nice job....i was wonderin tho why did you choose to put them in 12/12 right away? just curious....

cant wait to be ripped off of some DQ lol. I might get a 2nd sun system, maybe the 250w switchable and put a cmh bulb in it. I will if they are all three female. Looks like 2 different phenotypes though. They all started on the same day yet the one in front is decidedly shorter and the leaves are slightly different as well. I hope I get that famous 'cheese' heavy pheno.

i put them in 12/12 form seed b/c of light issues, I cant afford a good lighting system until after I pay for mine and my fiance's tickets to Europe. Plus I need them to be finished by the time we go because we will be gone for a couple weeks. When I get home I will get 5 more seeds and pick the best girl to keep as a mother and run a little sog operation.

250w hps arent too bad, i used that size on my first 2 grows and i grew 7 plants each time and both times i got just under 4 zips, white widow both times

wow! so a 250w+150w+cfl should get me some nice tight nuggets eh?

oooo ok i see.....thats cool a trip to europe, yea would be kinda hard to keep an eye on things from there lol

mine were pretty nice i was very happy with the outcome, but i never used cfls so im not sure on that, but during flowering i would use the hps only imo

in theory I suppose I could get another 30gal rez, hook up a waterpump and let it run for 2 weeks. But I would be so stressed the whole time. Yea we are going to Menorca (Spanish Island in the Med). Meeting up with some family for a week. But its gonna cost a LOT of money and we dont even have to pay for the villa. Flights are redic!

yea somethin like that i would be on a steady panic attack the whole time if i were to leave my ladies for too long i wouldnt do it either lol......hell yea flights are expensive as a motha eh? i havent flown in a long time...... hope you have a good time on your trip, and hopefully your buds turn out awesome
