The yeild on Dr. Greenthumb's Iranian Auto was very good, but the potency was just above average. The taste was very earthy.

I have not had very good luck with the germination rate of the Attitude UFO Freebies. Dianfem and Mosca have germed just fine from Attitude, but the accompanying freebies lacked the same vigor. Makes me think the UFO progam is a way to liquidate substandard stock.

TGA gear beats them all for germ rate, vigor and overall results.

Yeah some freebies suck dont they i was thinking that same thing yesterday cause some of my freebies were ok but some sucked i had a buddha tahoe og that looks like shit. I agree the dinafems always pop there genetics are ok not the best tho i have had some awsome plants from nirvana seeds Ice was probably the most trich covered one i grew. Cant wait for the TGA gear i have heard they all have that hybrid vigor to them. Did you get out and vote bigsky yesterday? Have you signed the CI 110 petition yet?

I'm a big fan of the mail-in ballot. Gives me time to ponder my choice of candidates, but damn, it now takes two stamps to mail it in! Guess it is still cheaper than gas. As for the politics of ganja, I'm simply concerned with the continued existence of a reasonable medical marijuana program. I'm far from an activist, just a simple medical cardholder who wants to grow my own organic medicine. Let's hope cooler heads prevail and they leave the medical users alone. I know some folks who already anticipate leaving MT if the Republicans get their way and the MMJ laws aecome unworkable.

I know its scary isnt it all there doing is making criminals out of people that bother and harm no one. Politics cant stand them maybe Alaska is the way to go right. So much land and very little policing for all of it and they pay you to live there. I wouldnt mind having a nice little cabin back in the woods were i would have to winter it out in just gotta make sure i have lots of fuel for the generator if the power goes out to run the lights. That would probably be the only thing i would use electric for the lights. Heat can be accomplished with a good ax and a good fireplace. I just saw in todays Hightimes that Dr greenthumb had an add for his Iranian Auto saying he improved it somehow.

For now, I'm going to conserve what little cash I have and see what happens with the Pre-98 Bubba X Querkle. No new seed orders, although I've been very tempted by the TGA special offer of bonus beans with an order fron Hemp Depot and Attitude. As with any new strain, hope springs eternal that Pre-98 Bubba X Querkle is the magic combination of vigorous growth, high potency, good yield, quick flowering, no "bananas" and easy of care. I have trouble reigning in my excitement, as I have great hopes for this batch. I did get a plesant surprise when I was outdoors yesterday -- I found some "volunteers" that sprouted where I grew my Iranian Indica outdoors last year. I think they got some pollen from a BubbleBerry X Hashplant male. My "little" volunteers are over a foot tall, with nice thick stems -- but they have stretched out so some training is necessary. As for the new TGA strain, I've transplanted to larger containers and growth continues at an above average rate. Very Indica looking leaf and growth structure.

Yeah i cant wait to get the indica dom strains from TGA ive heard from numerous people that if you get a tga seed usually they all have that hybrid type if vigor to them just love to grow big and healthy. Its crazy sometimes starting seeds at the same time and I usually get one or two out of 10 that grow like that the seeds i got from Nirvana all were like that grew awsome except one but you always got have a run to the litter. Nice on the volunteers wouldnt that be nice if one turned out auto and another non might have yourself something there if the seed got the best of both genetics and portrays them in these plants. I am thinking of investing a little bit of money and building a 100 dollar greenhouse for whatever TGA strain is the best or maybe both a 10x10 that way i know that if the weather or nature destroys my crop i will still have a few good strains to fall back on. The gamble is a scary deal thankfully i dont have even a quarter of what i spent on the indoor into the outdoor. I dont know were your from Bigsky but have you ever seen or smoked any of that Montana Silvertip that was going around?

Yes, I have a clone of Montana Silvertip, related to Bozeman Kush. Clearly the strongest strain I've ever experienced. Slow to grow and develop, not a big yielder, but overall well worth playing with. If my Pre-Bubba 98 X Querkle ends up with a strong male in the bunch I may hit a Silvertip with some of the pollen.

Here is some info from a couple of reviews on Montana Silvertip.....should make a nice cross if it can be paired with Pre-98 Bubba X Querkle.

Description provided by: sanvanalona
The same brothers that brought the Bozeman Kush also brought the SilverTip Medical Marijuana Strain. An entire crop of Grand Daddy Purple Medical Marijuana strain had 3 seeds that were accidentally crossed with someone’s Super Silver Haze Medical marijuana strain pollen. Out of the three seeds one was male and the other didn’t take, the last one became the Montana dispensary wonder child, SilverTip. It was named after one of the brother’s encounter with a mama grizzly, so that is another story. The SilverTip Medical Marijuana Strain has been one of the highest testing plants to my knowledge in THC in Montana. It has a similar flavor to Purps, just much more limey with a much bigger kick. SilverTip Medical Marijuana Strain is one of our brightest MT strains.

Good smoke tho my plant was more sativa from the seed we found.

Isn't it a shame -- some (mostly young and impatient) growers pump out the frosty nugs, but then rush the cure -- My cure is very long and slow. Reminds me of the old joke about the two bulls on the hill, looking down on a field of young heifers. The young bull says "let's run down there and screw one of those heifers" and the old one replies "let's WALK down there and screw then ALL."

Then again, I guess it is easier for me as I have such a small amount, and it is grown with the intent of making the best organic medicine.

BTW, as far as an update on the Pre-98 Bubba X Querkle, the continued wet weather and daytime temps in the 50's, nights in the low 40's definately do not agree with this variety. IMHO --Growth has slowed and the young plants are simply hunkered down and waiting for daytime temps in the 70's.

It does seem like thats what they do huh hunker down cause i dont know about your but i put some out like a month and a half ago some clones of MTF from dr greenthumb i thought they were dead as the other ones died but these came back and there still alive growing but stunted its like when there cold all there leaves point down and looks like there thirsty as hell but there not. Everytime i go out there to put some in the gound or whatnot they always have a shitty night. I guess its breaking them in i hardend them up before i put them out there so i know they can handle it those other MTF clones they survived nights into the high twentys and low 30s which really surprised me. I had backups at home if they were to completly die. It seems like the ones i put into the ground are doing better than the ones i put into 45 gallon smart pots. Im kinda glad i havent put any tga strains out yet gotta get the indica dom first everything else looks good tho its supposed to be really windy here today gusts 40-50 mph

Update. The cold, wet weather pattern has finally broken -- today may reach 70 and we will actually see the big halide in the sky. Just hope the Pre-98 Bubba x Querkle don't get sunburn from the sudden burst of light. I pay post some pics by end of week if I get a burst of growth. BTW -- the stink "so good" when I gently rub the stem.

They are probably looking like beautys bigsky arent they. I popped three seeds of each strain qush, ripped bubba, and chernobyl all popped out of the dirt even the chernobyl that i kinda broke the tap root on pulling it out of the paper towel it grew into. Your gonna have some beautiful plants with those genetics. Im totally jealous of those tester strains you got.

Maybe you'd like to swap some pollen of your Qush, ripped bubba and chernobyl when/if superior looking boys come out -- as far as I know there is no prohibition on pollen exchange. In any case, I'm a medical cardholder here in Montana.

Yeah im a medical card holder also big sky i was actually hoping for a good male out of the chernobyl i like my sativas but in any case if i get a male out of any of them you are more than welcome to a good bit of pollen i planned on saving some or if i get that killer male that has everything in its favor i would probably keep it im really looking for a male tho in my vortex or the space bomb. You looking for the indica genetics to pollinate with mostly?

I'm simply looking for high potency - short flowering characteristics. In most cases, that means Indica, but I'd also like to cross with come C-99, as ther reviews say it is a Sativa with those characteristics. I'm just a simple country boy, and youcould probably call me a "pollen chucker," but I'm always hopeful of that one exceptional outcome. One thing I do look for is breeding with all "regulars" and staying away from all "femmed" branches in the family tree.
