That would be interesting. I was excited when I ordered the LED panel. But for 130+ dollars when I got it I was really disappointed. It's very cheaply made and flimsy. I really don't know if it does much good at all but I use it for side lighting. I guess it can't hurt.
Attached an A-Train pic. Hope i didn't attach this one previously. It's 5" tall now and over 3 weeks old. Not sure when I should flower these. My tent is maybe 6' tall at most and then there is the light which is several inches deep and the 5 gallon buckets are at least a foot tall. I just don't want to run out of room.

gotta figure out how to send more than one attachment at once. maybe if i resize them first? the error says something about a security cookie missing. why would it be missing on 2 attachments and not one?

Nice grow you have there Dance. Think I'll tag along and keep an eye on your Vortex. Sub's female/male ratio is pretty good I hear....maybe you will get two girls.
I have a few Vortex going as well....same age as yours. Maybe we can compare phenotypes a little further on down the road. Good luck!

i am sure wondering when to flower mine. the a-train seems to have more of a stretch to it than the vortex, so far. it's been over 3 weeks and they are now over 6" tall....i might wait another week...i just don't want to end up with a couple 6 foot plants on my hands.Oooooo....I'm looking at getting an a-train mom and the hybrid is sounding more and more appealing. I was thinking of throwing it in 12/12 after a week or so tops (kinda SOG w/ DIY aero). I'm gonna be watching to see how much these guys stretch in flower...

hey thanks for the link, i'll check it out. here's one of the vortex tonight. i don't really see too much of difference between my two vortex so far. they sure started out wimpy but now they are looking really nice and not stretching at all. getting nice and bushy. i want to get them into the 5 gallon buckets but i'm scared to mess with them.

here's the a-train tonight. like i said, hard to tell but the a-trains have more distance between nodes than the vortex so far. not that it really matters. i kinda expected the a-trains to be taller and bigger than the vortex anyway. i just wonder which will stretch more. the vortex is supposed to be more sativa and the a-train 50/50 (i think) but who knows!

I'll send a couple of tonight's pictures. Moved the vortex into 5 gal buckets a couple of days ago. Made a big mess of that but they don't seem to show any signs of stress at all. The big A-train is 9" tall. On Wed they will be 1 month old and I think I may go 12/12 then. Still concerned these will turn into 6' beasts. I've never topped a plant but I have tied them down, bent them, and super-cropped, so I guess that's what I'll do if I have too.

Both Vortex after transplant to 5 gal pots. I buried them both up to the lower leaves. Not really on purpose! Just because i don't know what I'm doing.

Switched to HPS, set timer to 12/12 and installed guard cat tonight.

wow, i switched to 12/12 and hps 48 hours ago and at least 2 of the a-trains are starting to flower. plants are cool! i see the little flower pods with my magnifier but it's too soon to tell what sex.
