I can back you 100% well I wouldn't say he is a great breeder as the word Breeder implies that he spent time to breed, select, isolate, breed to get good stable genetics, but defiantly the arrogant prick you speak of, my wife has only seen him via 5min of Weed nerd and feels the same, she's never met him as I have though.

I know some folks love the thrill of the hunt for that good pheno, but hell even Sub will tell you what the desirable pheno is for each of his strains, so my point is why should the customer have to find that desirable pheno, hope its bomb and than breed with it to stabilize it so that future seeds produce something similar, isn't that the breeders job? I understand in even the most STABLE strains there are some plants that turn out better then others, but they are for the most part all similar in height, leave and branch formation and bud formation.

To OP, if you want the most indica couch lock I would go Deep Purple (if you go TGA) While AoS could give you a good indica girl, odds are better with the Deep Purple as its 85% indica. I would say TGA is not for a novice, there are far to many phenotypes in each strain and the odds of a novice choosing the best aren't as good as a veteran (this is coming from someone who ran TGA Dairy Queen on my first run). If you want to keep things US based, check out Emerald Triangle Royal Purple Kush, or any of the OG Kush strains as a pure kush is 100% indica.

i have some medijana seeds left. the first time, i had two phenos. one green, the other was a deep purple late in flower. some of these lil shits threw nanners. so, guess ill have to be carefull, and hope for the purp, non nanner one. lol. but some of the richest tasting smoke ive had ANYWHERE! like exhaling caramels! maybe carmelisiaous was one of the secret parents? semi leggy, not the easyest to clone.... and i think i got 2 oz per plant, under a 600.

gotta say comparatively subcool isnt errogant...its not cocky motherfucker if you back it up (kid rock)...all those guys deserve a level of errogance they earned it and i would be the damn same if i was him!!! but come on look at swerve whose a straight dick to ppl when he wants to be and how about arjan that guy is a damn joke!!!! i say subcool and alpha are both more down to earth as far as breeders go(from my experiences on this site)..if you pm either of them with a question they will answer it and be cool normal ppl!

the querkle tested at 25% thc and i believe also has a good amount of thcv which some plants dont even register..might be mistaken tho that could be the jack..not that i know what thats good for but just saying..sounds pretty heavy hitting to me..ill have to give it a try

you would have to grow a shitload of seeds or hit the jackpot to get the pheno type thats got that much thc

well obviously every company takes their best one and tests that one but armed with that knowledge you can still say to yourself..self, if this guys best querkle was 25% and this other plant x had a best test of 18% then on average the querkle should be the stronger of the two

"Best" being his favored pheno, just because his showed at 25% it doesn't mean you can't find a pheno that displays a higher thc percentage.

tga is the only seedbank I expect results with from only a seed or two. I know that sounds overboard but ive grown qrazy train, agent orange, cheesequake, space bomb, jack the ripper, jilly bean,and ripped bubba. currently Im flowering ace of spades, and new jilly beans, and up next run is the flav, more agent orange, space dawg and im thinking Ill grow my own qrazytrainxcheesequake cross I made last year.

I have never grown anything TGA that wasnt great medicine. recesesive genetics brah

Jillybean is one of my favorite plants to grow, I plan on stabilizing Jillybean's Orange creamcicle pheno, or agent orange's Orange sherbert phenotype. i bred the two together before but i didn't have enough selection. i had a purple clone that smelled like orange candy but it was too easy to stress even though it produced some of the finest buds ive smoked, like velvet covered in white kief skunky orange smell from jar, but when you break up the nug, sweet candy orange smell but it had the tendency to pop nanners around week 8 from 12/12 if the temps get high or you mess up the feeding schedule.

giving ripped bubba a try, the grow journals i've seen make it look real nice, i want the cherry kush pheno!

I'm growing Qush right now. All 9 seeds germinated, but I killed one in a battle to remove the helmet. Of the 8 seedlings, 5 were female. A couple of the plants are heavily indica, with huge fan leaves. All are more indica than sativa, with massive stem thickness, large fan leaves, and shorter height. I was a little disappointed with the size of the buds until I harvested one early (7 weeks) and realized that the thick stem and huge fan leaves made the buds appear smaller in proportion. With no topping, trimming or training, the plants are going to produce an average-sized harvest with no popcorn, just lots of nice-sized nuggets. They all have the same aroma to me in the flower room. No taste test available yet, but I'm expecting some awesome bubba-like smoke.

Really?.... Really? in 9 days you'll get a 5pack of Chernobyl free for buying any 2 5 packs or 1 10 pack and you spent $109 on a 10 pack, not 55 on a 5 pack and taken the other 5 free? Could have spent the other 50 bucks on diversity. Do you wear virtual knee pads for Sub?
