I have skunk #1 growing outside the last while. I am interested in seeing how it will end up with the weather we get. The biggest problem you and I will face is it finishing before the onset of the winter frosts..

Only thing I am thinking of doing is LST the plants and maybe make a lightproof cover to encourage them to flower sooner...
That's what I do on longer flowering plants. I make a makeshift tent out of pvc and cover it with black plastic with one side open with a flap. on the onset of shorter daylight, I cover the entire plant after 12 hrs of natural daylight so it is subject to total darkness even though I may still have several hrs of daylight left out side during the day. it's kind of a pain, but it does work and at least it's mature before frost gets them. I leave the bottom part of my tent a few inches off the ground to allow some air movement to keep plant from to much heat during hot days. note... that I dont start this practice to soon. it's kind of a watch and see what you might think the best time to do this method, for different longer flowering stains might be sooner than later or vice-versus. I have tried this the past 2 years and it does work for me.
