This isn't actually true. Over history the system has been biased toward both Republicans and Democrats in successive waves. It depends on the views and platform of the party and other, much larger, trends. I think it might be more appropriate to say that it favors stupid people - people with provincial views and outright racists. Sometimes those people are Dems and sometimes Repubs. Right now there are about 4 times more stupid people in the Republicans than the Democrats. Soon there will be more as those states dismantle a non-religious academic curriculum and replace it with a privatized (non-secular) one that stresses Limbaugh and Jesus (in that order).

You know how music and fashion are about 30 years behind in Kansas and other rural states? So are politics, sometimes even older. Every now and then they come back and smack you in the face. They are kind of like bell-bottoms.

Hillary over-estimated the intelligence of these people - especially in Wisc, Mich, Ohio and Penn. Trump did not - nor did Putin.

So you guys keep thinking this way and pushing your ideas and if you do not moderate or better yet if you double down on stupid and continue leaving people like Nancy Pelosi in positions of power and the worm dick at the DNC alienates most of country.

Trump will fix this mess.

What makes you think Trump will do anything for the average American? The only promises he will keep are the ones that benefit him and/or his family directly.

Even Trump knew they were idiots. He just described the "drain the swamp" slogan as hokey and terrible. But, as he explained, the first time he used it people went nuts, so he said it "like he meant it". Then he said that "lock her up" "played great" before the election but after the election "pfft".


I was shocked that he feels so secure he can just blow off a major position - I guess he realizes that his typical supporter is too dumb to know or care. He is right. Terrific brain.

I heard him say the other day 'that was before the election' in response to something he had promised but now changed. Can't remember what it was..the wall, maybe?

Politicians rarely mean what they say.
Trump sold himself by claiming he isn't a politician, but when it comes to dishonesty, he's as proficient as they get.
"The swamp" is going to get some toxic waste dumped into it on January.
Oh good.
If you think GW Bush was a national embarrassment, hold on -- we ain't seen nothin' yet.

He saved thousands of jobs already before being sworn in. Carrier and Ford.

And yeah, the way he included his children in his campaign was a clear signal that he viewed them as talented and capable and would likely use them in his administration.
