hello... we posted a tread a few days back asking for some good late bloom tips and some guys (OpenDNS OpenDNS thanks man) recommended using that Molases stuff.. we were skeptic because molasses looks like syrup.. and is sweet and we though about bugs... we decided to give it a shot.. and Jesus Christ, she got fat..
anyway we wanted to share..

USE MOLASSES STUFF!

Mr I Can Do That For Half
Get molasses at any grocery store by the maple syrup.Its about 2 bucks or so.Grandmas black strap is best use about 2 table spoons per gallon of water

you can start to use it from veg til flower but most benefitial during flower.During veg maybe once a week in water and in flower do it every water

im still a little bit skepticle about this, has anyone ever tried to do a control without mollasses and one with? I know that buds do fatten up at the end of the flowering cycle that is why i asked.

I used it on my last grow and it seemed to work wonders, but I didn't have a control, so i can't compare it. If you decide to use it just make sure to quit using a good couple of weeks b4 harvest or you can taste it in the smoke.

my plants look like that one in your picture. i topped them at 5 nodes and when it got about that height i trimmed off all bottom branches and leaves. is it ok to have 6 plants like that in a good vented box with mylar and a 400watt hps?

mollasses has trace minerals and some nutes that actualy feed the micro organisims in your soil, and it also adds sugar that the plants use for flowering. I wouldnt use honey. As honey is a totaly different product. I have read up and researched molasses and I use it every grow. I dont think honey has the same attributes.

pj- Have you noticed a considerable difference between before you ever used molasses and now that you use it? I am starting my 7th week flowering (Im thinking 3 more to go) and want to try it out. 2 tbl spoons per gallon once a week. Is it really as good as everyone says?

in my opinion it is. But I read up on molasses so I like the value it has for the soil as well. I definitely can tase the difference. The buuds came out fruity and sweet. I actualy use 3 tbspoons per gallon but that is me. What I suggest is using it on one and not on another so you can compare. Trial and error is an awesome tool on gardening.

I already use molasses and the main reason it fattens buds is from being the fact that its a sugary carb,so is honey:blsmoke:

Honey may work, all I know... Is that we put some molasses in the water, and the next day you could see the buds were fatter, they looked saturated and healthy. we may have actually used too much, I put 2 tablespoons in a half gallon, I don't think it was too much though because she is loving it. I checked this morning, even fatter. I'd give it a go... the whole jar was like 2 bucks for grandmas molasses at walmart.

honey works but the effects are slightly less than molasses. one advantage to honey is that it produces small amounts of h2o2 when exposed to water and h2o2 breaks down into oxygen and water when it gets in your soil.
