That momentary lapse in judgement...

My last round of seeds didn't take for some reason(don't know, worked before, trying again) so I think I may have over compensated for my failure by starting too many this time. I had my dead cups in front of me, said ok, time to try again, got really stoned and started at least 2 of 11 varieties. CRAP! WHAT WAS I THINKING!! 11!!!

No, I know what I was thinking. I got ahold of some of my favorite strains and was like a kid in a candy shop then thought I want to try this also and then about autos so I needed to get a couple more of them going, yep eleven. Then there is also the red dirt survivor i just dug out of my back yard so 12.

So you have your hands full now and i consider challenges the spice of life to break up the mundane and monotonous same old, this sounds like the start of a big fun adventure for you.

I have four varieties about 4 in tall so far ready to go in the backyard as soon as it starts warming up. Last year put them out May 6th but it seems to be a cooler spring so hopefully around the 15th.

I tip my hat to you for growing outside, there are so many rippers around here I can't trust she'll be left alone.

But we're rolling with it! Ended up with 27 that popped and some of them had already shed their shell in the paper towel! Some autos, some fems, some regs so I got the variety going, I've just never grown any of these before.

Better too many than too little :weed: .
You could pick the best of them and save/clone the others for the next again run.

I'm working with 4 strains atm some are nearly finished some have a bit to go I've had to shut off 4 plants and hand feed them it's not the end of the world but it's a pia, I don't envy your job with 12 strains lol

Maybe in a year or two but right now every tom, dick, and Harry can look into my backyard.
I'm looking into automated watering that way I can just stop in to give them the good stuff(not that I wouldn't be in there multiple times a day still). I've got an in medium feeding system but boosters are beneficial. I just need to make the watering more consistent.

Look into the paper towel seed germination method, it's foolproof I never have seeds fail. I literally have sprouted over 20 seeds in the last 3 months with 100% success. All different strains and breeders.

Oh they popped, I'm guessing I just planted a little too deep and too much water. Cause I got nothing from them in their cups. This round is going better already. I had 2 or 3 already trying to open their cotyledon this morning.

I was hoping I had taken a better pic of "the bassinet" as I called it, but this was the only one I took, oops. This was on transplant day (may 12th) and I was already 3 plants in when I thought I should take a pic. It's just a tote with about a half inch of vermiculite in the bottom, mainly for holding the cups in place.
Honestly I forgot about this thread.
