THC Bomb journal - imag1nat1on

Hello guys,
When i started growing my THC Bomb i wanted to see how the other guys are handling this strain but i didnt find almost anything to begin with so I've decided to start my own journal here. Right now its close to harvest but I am keeping my images. So lets start.

The equimplent was really bad cuz i didnt want to spent a lot of money for a growing that i am not sure i am ready for, so its started as an experiment with minimal cost.
The grow room is a small wardrobe 50cm/80cm/120cm ( Most of the guys will excuse me that i am using centimeters, 1 inch equals 2.54cm.) covered with folio.
125W CFL which equals something like 400W for $15 and that was my biggest investment
and the fan was my cooling pad for my laptop something like $4
The medium was some organic soil from the flower shop for $2

And thats all i've begun with. For about 20 bucks i had a growing room. So lets see some pictures.


It popped out on the 4th day.



On the 7th day, she was 3 inches tall. The THC BOMB is indica/sativa mix so just to know they are not very tall "creatures"


And here is the time i forgot to take pictures for some period and the next one is from its 29th day. Tree days ago i topped it.


Day 31. Just started to growing wide


Day 33 was very important. I've took some clones and bend the mother plant.


Day 46. Looks stronger than ever and close to flower. One week ago I started to add some stuff in the water with NPK 20/0/20. It cost me $2 bucks.


So I had to switch to 12/12 light but i knew i wont be at home for 2 days and i bought digital timer for $10. The biggest mistake ever! I tested it before leaving and it worked just fine, but after 2 days when i came back the lights were off in the middle of the day. So i think she was 48 hours without light. Later on i found out that is actually good kicking start when you go into flowering.

So that is the picture from day 55. Its 2 days in flowering right after the 48h dark period.


Day 60. or 1 week into flower. Its interesting that this strain was never sick and it grew like it was under the cares of a pro I also bought another stuff to mix with the water (NPK 5-50-20) which cost me another 2 bucks

Day 61. Its too bushy and i've decided to cut some fan leaves and open space for the light to go trough


Day 71. I wasnt there for few days. I bought another timer but this time was a mechanical timer. Simple is better and it was cheaper like $4. The hole apartment was stinking and when i open the wardrobe...... voila!


Day 78.


Day 91. Its captured 3 day ago from now. Doing pretty good


I am thinking to give it 1 or 2 weeks more before i harvest it.
its interesting that it hasn't grow an inch from the day turn to 12/12. Well, my light is terrible so i dont complain about it
I will add some images when its ready to harvest so i have to be little more patient. Hope you like it

91 days,13 weeks and your going to give her another 2 weeks???

91 days from the start. In flowering is from 44 days. The guys from Bomb Seeds published in their website that the harvesting window is open from 7th to 9th week. So i am thinking to wait for a harvesting in the last minute. I just started to flushing my plant.

Looking great! I ordered thier ice bomb, kush bomb and thc bomb. Im glad to see what a minimal grow room will produce from the strain. Keep the updates coming!

Yeah most of thier strains flower 7-9 weeks.

Yea, the strain is very strong and it doesn't need much cares. If i am happy with the quality i will definitely buy it again but this time with better equipment.

Hey guy, if you haven't already... add some molasses to any water you give her from now on. Inexpensive and wow does it help to produce those trichomes. Looks good buddy.

Do you have a fan going? They need the "wind" to build strong stems and branches to hold your massive buds to come. I notice you planted low on the cup. So o take it you had it cover with plastit wrap for humidity while germinating. So that is a good thing when young, but you have to prepare your babies for your HPS/MH lights. I personly would cut the cup down to about a 1/2 from this soil line. And maybe sprinklen some pure worm casting on the top of the soil, like a half hand full. Water heavey, then let it get almost dry. Then re plant qbalance to a really good soil mixture.
